Do you filter google's results to your country?

I nearly always filter my results to "pages from the UK". Just wondering if anyone else does this for their region or do you leave it on "the web".

I really want to learn how i can target a specific country more effectively with my keyword research.

Being in the US its already on my country, but if I am promoting a product in another country I filter the results for that country.

Usually its a big drop off in search inquiries when you leave the US unfortunately. However you can find little to no competition in certain packets of the world.

If you want to target the UK only, then your fine. Things like local spots etc.

BUT! You are missing a huge market if you don't include wordwide results for general stuff!!
