Having blog title on every page - Yes or No?

Good afternoon,

Thought I would post this question to all of you...

Do you say yes or no to having your blog title on your pages and posts?

I have mine (after the story page title of course) on there but I have heard that Google might give you a slight penalty for having the same words on each page.

Thoughts?

First, Google will not give you any penalty for using your short blog name in each title. Most of the large corporate sites have their brand names in every page title.
The same holds for using your blog name on the content of each page.

For a blog, the value is questionable, unless you plan to convert your blog into a brand.
However, if your blog name contains your major keywords, I would definitely add the name at the end of each title and into the content.

I believe that a title on every page increase your chance that it will be picked up in search results.

The point is unless the blog title is made up of your keywords, why are you doing it?
Page titles are there to draw in clicks from lots of search results, amongst many other anonymous competing offers. The page title presents an opportunity to differentiate yourself from the competition and qualify prospects to your offer.

Good titles should evoke an emotional response, ask a question, or promise something that the landing page on your blog/website fulfills. Do not waste the space or distract if the blog title is not made up of your keywords.

    best wishes

Yes, I put title on every page on my blog. It is really important to put a title. Having doing so, I haven't receive any penalty from Google. I've been blogging for three years now and don't find any wrong about putting blog titles.
