Just go to Google Search and put in the celebrity's name.

A drop box will come up with the 5 top related kewords.

To get more, just go through the alphabet and put in a after.

Example would be paris hilton a.

    paris hilton b
    paris hilton c

You are likely to get 130 more keywords just on the first level.

Let me know if you need more help.

    All the best,

Use twitter trending topics, google trends or google keyword tool

Or go to Google and google 'most popular celebrities 2010'

By the way, just of the top of my head... you can't go wrong with Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber, Beyonce, Rihanna, Miley Cyrus, Christina Aguilera... they are all over the media now.

    Hope this was helpful...

Ah.. people are so obsessed with Google that they've forgotten Yahoo. Go to Yahoo home page and look at the trending keywords at the top right. It usually dominated with celebrity names..

So you're going to make fake profiles of real people? And you're going to pretend to be them? That's... not very nice.

No I'm not going to make fake profiles of real people just info about
them at the web 2.0 sites.

Try also using the Google "Wonder Wheel". I find it very helpful for ideas to generate more keywords.

Just do a regular search on a root keyword. Then look at the column on the left where you can click on the Wonder Wheel. Once you do you will see it in the center with a bunch of longtail keywords around it. Click on each one and keep drilling down. You will see the competing pages above for each one.

If this sounds too confusing, I explain this and several other free keyword tools in a video and a pdf that I'll be posting on my blog today!

    Hope that helps.

The google keyword tool would be very accurate in giving you keyword ideas for the celebs you are looking for.

You do not want to go for the top keywords, that would be celebrities i assume. Try long tail ones with about 3000-6000 unique clicks a month, that is still 100-200 possible unique click a day you can get if you reach the top position.

I'm not going to try & rank for a keyword, these are going to be pics, stories
and video on web 2.0 sites like facebook & twitter.

I would look for more of the long tailed keywords as well if I were you.

      Good luck!

Even with building up a fan page at the social network sites like facebook
you still think I should look for long tailed keywords if I'm not doing seo.

If you are doing this in any way to benefit yourself then I would not bother. Facebook won't allow you to create fan pages about other celebrities and even if you do, your publishing rights will be taken away rather swiftly so you will be left with no control over the fan page.

  • Yahoo posts and updates "Trending Now" searches throughout the day. Usually at least 8 of 10 of these "trending now" posts are celebrity names.

Nobody has mentioned Youtube keyword tool. It can also come handy to find hot searches about celebrities. Try searching on celebrity focused fan forums. You can find some gems over there just by searching current hot discussion threads.

This thread has really been a treasure trove of ideas for finding out
which celebrity gets the most searches.

But there's still no top 10 or top 100 type of list with the current amount of searches for each keyword I would have to grab each celebrity name and do a keyword search for each along with the competition anyone know where there's a list like this.
