Mastermind Groups are a very powerful way to grow your business learning from people who are at the same level as you.

I currently have one here in Toronto which is a mix of SEO consulting, some people train, partly online/offline, however I am looking to build online more specific criteria and online (http://www.warriorforum.com/local-me...tml#post226788).

Here is why I find it helps.

#1 - My group has people with all different specialty areas. If I need help on one area in my business, I know someone who is very good at it and can ask them for help. Understand this goes both ways. Example I am good at outsourcing, traffic and video, someone calls me up and asks for help from my mastermind, no problem. In return I needed help with conversions, so I call someone else up and they spend 2-3 hours helping me. It has to work both with contributing and learning. You cannot just take

#2 - Getting outside perspective from people at your level may make things look very different then the idea you had.

#3 - People in different markets want to see you succeed. People will openly share there ideas with you and help you grow your business

#4 - There is sometimes no right or wrong. You get 2 experts debate something and make your own conclusion from it. You learn a lot about that topic along the way.

Example - Twitter is crap for making sales online, however it is good for relationships. I personally am not in the suck up and then buy my stuff business, so I dont use twitter much for business.

#5 - Others to talk to who are doing what you do. It does get though sometimes and posts get ignored when you need help here sometimes.

Cheers,
Mukul

Agreed - I've been doing these on and offline for IM for many years now and they're great.
