My dream & your help!

Hello everybody

I have a dream to become the youngest millionaire in Malaysia. So far, the youngest millionaire in M'sia is 22 years old. I'm 19 years old. It needs about $300k USD (1 million in M'sia) in less than 3 years to achieve my dream. I really believe that I can make this happen!

My goal is to make 1k USD a day because I know a lot of people already make this number & some more (10k daily?!). I know this is not easy. So, I make 30k USD a month & 10 month after that, my dream will come true!

What I need are your opinion, suggestion, thought and also motivation.

I started learning Internet marketing since I'm 17 years old. My mistakes are I read a lot & not taking so much action. Maybe a year later I start getting serious & take action. I start making money with PPC but not so well since I don't have a credit card & big budget. It takes couples of week for the paychecks to arrive at my home and it takes a month for the local bank to clear the check. It really ruined my PPC campaigns.

So, I decide to use free traffic to make about $500 USD monthly & then apply for credit card to use for my PPC campaigns. I hate doing SEO so I still can't earn 500 USD monthly. What you think the best way to make 500 USD monthly that not involve SEO works? I'm thinking of Twitter or FB or what else? I already spent about 3k USD (this is half of my scholarship!) in learning & doing Internet marketing. That mostly spent on PPC & software.

When I got a credit card, I'm thinking of using PPV or FB ads or media buy or what for start. I need your opinion here. I will do all these after I had mastered 1 by 1. I not going for Adwords first but I sure will try it later because I heard those ways are easier to do & learn. I think these are the fastest & easiest way for me to make 1k USD a day. I'll try SEO again when I have the money for outsourcing. What do you think?

Again, what I need are your opinion, suggestion, thought and also words of encouragement & motivation.

    Your dream is a good and can be realized. You must focus on taking action. Put every strategy into action as soon as you learn it. Before gettinga credit card, you should focus on driving targeted traffic to your affiliate link using free traffic methods. Classified ads,articles,press releases, blogging,social bookmarking etc all are free to use. Just make a daily plan to use them effectively.

        Reality check - you are dreaming if you think you can get rich by doing only what is easy to learn and do - and what is fast and easy. You won't become a millionaire by avoiding the important aspects of IM like SEO because you don't enjoy doing them.

        Doesn't happen. Some online tasks are enjoyable - some are not fun but necessary. Either you do what is required - even the details that you don't like doing - or you don't. Once you are in profit you can outsource work you don't enjoy - but until then YOU have to do it.

        Stop dreaming about big money and being the "first young millionaire" and get to work on what you KNOW you have to do. You are offering too many excuses - and excuses won't make you rich. Even when you have a credit card, the bills come and must be paid in a month so you need to generate enough income to handle the cash flow before jumping too heavily into PPC.

        I know it's popular here to say "you can do it" and "just keep going" - but that doesn't work until you have a real plan that you CAN do and get to work on it.

        Motivational words won't make any difference to you as long as the goal in your mind is "rich, fast, easy, enjoyable". If you want to experience something truly enjoyable - do the work necessary to start earning money. THAT will motivate you to do more.

    Your dream is archievable. RM1 million is not so much I think. But first, forget what you don't have but focus on what you have.
    You don't have credit card but yet want to do a PPC then its a doom.
    If later on, you own a credit card, it still the same, it would take months for you to cash your money and pay your card and before you could pay your card, you will die with a lot of interest.

    You also said about SEO. How about outsource your work. Spend around $200 to $300 per month on good seo guy, and see your business grow.

    A lot of newbie (including myself), promoting their websites directly. I mean, product's website. Why don't we build mailing list first ? Instead of directly shooting for the moon, why not we wait to shoot a star?

    I mean, when you have mailing list, you can have your product sold multiple times, instead of once per promotion.

    Hey man, i feel like if you were almost talking about me
    i also started when i was 17, and I am 19 right now, and do have an ambition also to be a young kid with money.
    anyway, I have never tried PPC so i could not give any advice with that
    but I have seen some success with SEO- and yes its boring and repetitive, but its low cost, and does work, maybe not so fast like PPC but withing weeks it does- at least that has been my experience so far.
    Just wanted to say that, and would love to help you, even tough i dont have much experience.
    And don't forget that your goal is achievable but your gonna have to work consistenly and aggressively to reach it, good things don't come easy.

      Put your dream into action. Too be young again. I'm
      old enough to be your grandfather.

      You have to make a plan. What are you going to do
      first. What's second and the steps after that.

      Work your plan everyday. Only way to learn is actually
      do the steps.

      From the beginning build a mailing lists. Find something
      you can give away. Something in the niche you choose
      to work in.

      With out a list, you'll will never make a million. Build relationships
      with fellow marketers. Get to know people. Help these
      people first and then ask for their help.

      Doing the parts that others hate to do will make you a
      better marketer. You can hire someone to do the things
      you don't want to do, if you haven't learned them first.

      SEO is a must. Learn it. It will make you money. Have
      fun, but work at this as a real business, because it is.

      It's good to have big goals, but don't get lost in the clouds...

      Before you think about being a millionaire focus on becoming a hundredaire

      ....if you haven't made $100 in one day, through internet marketing, then this should be your first goal. It's not a lot of money but once it happens it will allow you to focus on making $200 in one day....

    Kay's right. If you really want to be RICH, then you don't have to entertain excuses because hard work is really the start of every success -- believe it or not. Also, if you really cannot sustain with the things that you don't like doing, you could outsource to "valuable" areas overseas so it wouldn't hurt much in your allotted budget but at least, it's a great start for you to work on SEO which is a crucial part in Internet Marketing.

    The stereotypical WF answer to this type of thread:

    All you have to do is believe in yourself, take action and you will meet your goal!!!!!!

    The real world answer:

    You are delirious. Snap out of it and lower your goals. A newbie can't reach $1,000 a day as quickly as you want it. The vast majority work for many years without coming close to this. Most here can't make $100 a day.

    Most people in online business are also full of crap. DO NOT believe anyone's income claims -- especially if you read it on "how to make money online" type websites (there is a 100% chance they are lying in that case).


    My advice is to slow down. Instead of shooting for being the wealthiest 22-year-old in your country, aim for $20 in profits per day and then raise the bar from there. You won't make the $300,000, but with a lot of hard work and adding to your skills (something that 95% of online workers are unwilling to do) you can still make an amount you are happy with.

    I think some of you had misunderstood me. I not say that I want an easy & fast way to make money but I want to make money with the easiest & fastest ways. I know these not going really easy & fast too. I don’t believe it is easy to achieve a dream likes this.

    One more thing is 1k a day is my definite purpose not my goal as a beginner. I just want to make 500 a month as a beginner.

    Look like I had to do SEO works again. Maybe I can try it again slowly. I got overwhelm with SEO works maybe because I try to optimize too many sites.

    My budget now is about RM2000 (500 USD). I’ll add more when I got my scholarship this semester. I heard Twitter can makes money with a low cost too. Maybe just cost for the software. Or can I use this budget to make money with PPV? What do you think?

      It's very do able, perhaps not in the beginning, but I'm sure in a few years, maybe in 1-2 years you'll be cranking out millions. At least, you won't be poor... That's ofcourse if you really really want this. You sure do have the right mindset and with determination and commitment you'll get there.

      Look at George Brown from Google Sniper, he's been marketing for 2 years now and look what he has accomplished in such a short period of time.

    Your dream is really extraordinary. For you to achieve it, you must have a strong mindset. Time management is very important to spend every minute wisely.       Hey, don't get me wrong: I'm all about action.

      But there's a big difference between taking meaningful action toward a specific goal, and floundering around for years doing something that doesn't help your bottom line. It sounds like the OP is ready for the former and wants to avoid the latter, which is why he's asking here.

      Read every post here, OP, then form your own road map. What works for one person may not work for another.

      We all have to start somewhere so it wonderful that you have a goal otherwise you might give up or slow down when you just needed that little extra to get there.

      Here are some ideas to get you started although other responses should put you in the right direction.

      Definitely learn seo! Look for some quality ebook or course in your budget to teach you. You mentioned you had a very low budget. Well that was me when I started learning seo. I took years to research and fully understand seo because I did not even know what the word meant when I started out! I truly believe that once you have a fantastic handle on seo it's all so much easier, because you understand how things work fully.

      In short seo is targeting keywords that will actually get you on the Google map rather than targeting words that about a million other people are doing. Yeah right see in you in a couple of years if you are lucky.

      Yes you can definitely use Twitter for marketing. It is a low cost effective way to build a list, market to those looking for whatever niche you are in, and even build a few backlinks to get new sites indexed.

      $500 a month is a great goal and definitely achievable. By watching, learning, and absorbing you might be surprised at what you already know!

    I have an idea! Make a website like Facebook or something then once it gets really popular, sell it! The creator of that Mark Zuckerburg is worth 4 billion dollars and is only 26 years old! I know it will be very hard but if he can do it, you can too!
