Should I create new accounts and usernames for my web 2.0 properties?

Hey, so I have been using web 2.0 properties or content sharing sites such as squidoo, blogger, hubpages and others to promote products as an affiliate. My question is should I be creating a new user name for each niche I am promoting? Or would it be ok to have one username for a variety of different niches while creating articles on these content sharing sites?

IN my opinion, I think you would be better off creating a new username for each time, not for the sake of SEO as I don't think it would affect you but so that if a competitor finds your site, he can't see what other niches you're working in. Just my two cents.

If you dominate your niche, with a high quantity of high quality content, who cares if other people see what you are working on? Personally, I'd just keep all your work under one username, and for self-branding purposes, keep that consistent with your registration on every Web 2.0 property you submit to.

I'm inclined to agree with James on this one. But the branding thing
is an issue. You must decide whether branding yourself is paramount.
