Someone making money care to comment?

Somebody who making money, please tell me...

Sometimes I feel like a fool on this forum, admitting my ignorance. But generally my fellow internet marketers have been kind.
Having been at this a year or so, I realize some of my early errors. I admitted not too long ago that I chased every well-written pitch for new systems. I own stuff by just about every guru on my shelves and on my harddrive.

My further truth is, I did not really dig into the material and give the knowledge a fair hearing. I realized I hadn't really completely tried it. If I had, I would not be needing the further education. Think about it, if I joined something the blueprint 2.0 for example and did everything there, backlinks, video, etc. I would not be needing more?

So as they say, bad on me!

I went and reread/listened/watched other things like micro continuity, and other systems, and its like new to me! What a f*** up. OK, so I realize that I have a pretty good education already. I know about CPA networks, affiliate marketing, product launching, PPC, and I have tools to delve into it more.

I have to ask someone that knows...which one would you pick. If you picked one thing to pursue to make money (and you don't have employees to do it for you). What would you do? Why? Would you do a product launch? Pick a niche and make and optimize a dozen websites for it? Buy a list and start peppering PPC offers to it?
What?
Help a brother out here...I know a little about everything. which one would you recommend. I am about to enter some coaching, and I know they are not going to like me being all over the map, my guess is they will help me expand one system. So I ask you (you who has made a fair amount of money online), what do you recommend? I'm all ears? I am about to make my last stand.

It is really up to you. I personally do a lot of affiliate marketing, because it is a business model that I understand and enjoy. The important thing with affiliate marketing is not to stretch yourself too thin, because it is tempting to try and dive into 50 different niches immediately.

I think the best way to ensure success with affiliate marketing is to first and foremost build a list in each niche market, and also only concentrate on 3 or 4 niches max. Most of the super affiliates that I have communicated with tell me they are in a select few niches, and not all over the board.

There are a thousand ways to succeed with affiliate marketing, so I am by no means saying that my way is the only way, but it has worked for me!

Maybe you've noticed that every area has someone who's making money. If you applied yourself, repeat their system, you'd be making money too. The questions is, would you like the process? This is supposed to be about you. What do you like? What are you good at naturally, what do you enjoy doing?

As you know through your own research, they all "work" if you work them consistently. Choose the one method that interests you the most, this way you are more likely to stick to it and not stray. Once chosen, commit to spending "X" number of hours a day on it before ever allowing yourself to even considering looking at anything else. Commit to yourself that you will make $"X" before moving on to another method or adding another niche.

Lastly, congratulate yourself for being here for a year and realizing some of your errors. Learn from them. Just pick one and don't stop or stray until you are successful (however "successful" is defined by YOU)!

The others already brought out great points. They are right.

I really like the...find what you are passionate about and be the expert on it route, but, man, there are a gazzillion ways. Really.

This definitely isn't a one size fits all internet world.

If you keep at it...something will strike you that you really like and enjoy and you'll do well with it. I find if you hate doing something (maybe article marketing, or whatever)...you won't do well with it. Nobody likes doing stuff they hate, and then they'll give up.

Find what you like to do, and I think some of the doors will open up for you.

I have to agree. Of those systems that you purchased, one must interest you. Go with that one.

I would have to think that most successful internet marketers have tried various things and failed at least once in the process but they kept trying until something worked. But what they did was try and keep trying and not give up.

For me, I have made some good money with promoting Amazon products but others have made it big with Adsense and others with selling their own products. Then there is eBay, public domain products, bum marketing, PPC and so on. They all work if you do it right. Just pick something that interests you and stick with it.

If I had the money to invest, I would purchase a real-world PPC & CPA education. I'd put at least $1000 on the table, and make it my absolute mission to learn from every $ spent.

Of course, that would be *after* consuming all of those PPC & CPA products I'd already bought.

Regardless, doesn't take somebody with a full time income in IM to tell you: you need to get your feet wet. Knowledge is useless if it isn't applied.

I would have to say the only thing that has worked for me thus far is bum marketing. You need to just force yourself to write or make X number of videos or articles or whatever per day, then build X number of backlinks to each to get a healthy amount of traffic.

It's great for newbies because you don't risk anything, like with PPC or media buys. If you focus on paid traffic tactics, your success or failure will come twice as fast, as will your traffic.

But with bum marketing, it's much more gradual and you can watch your traffic and your conversions grow. Sure, at this point in the game I am only make a few hundred to a thousand per month, but it's all from articles and videos, the free forms of traffic.

As far as being in one major niche, that's entirely subjective. If you follow guys on the WF like Zeus, he has around 140 minisites and makes a solid income online. I learned a LOT from him in his coaching course. If you are a bit lost, you might want to try some of his methods.

You can also try this bum marketing guide, if you're interested. Bum marketing is a lot of work, but as I said, great for beginners, low risk and something that aggregates as you produce more content. Good luck.

Like him who did what he thinks is the best and fun for him, you are free to do the same. Know yourself and see which areas you excel and enjoy the most and start making money from it. If it's on written content, try writing more content and spread Amazon links around your texts. If it's on video, try enhancing your value over YouTube and other video sharing sites and provide your own tutorials.

There are several choices! Just pick what you think would fit you the most and it'll be easier along the way.

At least now you know to actually start putting what you learnt into action as someone here once create a video about. Many mistakes of new comers are they purchase more than they do. you've got to sell more than you purchase to make a profit.

The question is what do you like to do? Do you like writing; what are your fortes. What interest you?

It's very important to do something you like because it's not going to be a breeze imo it'll take time and effort and energy.

It's going to take a while at times so if you're going to be investing hours of your life at it's important to be doing something you like imo
