Paying Someone With a Huge List to Promote Your Squeeze Page

Hi Warriors,

Does any of you have experienced paying someone with a huge list size to promote your squeeze page with their list to grow your list faster? Can you tell me the approximate cost of it, let's say, someone with 5,000 subscribers? How about for someone with 10,000 or 15,000 subscribers? And did you get good results out of it?

Thanks. Your feedback will be highly appreciated.

A more likely scenario is to find someone with a big list in the same sort of niche and offer them a percentage of all sales made by their promotion.

Thanks for your feedback. The thing is, I don't have a product yet to sell, all I have are multiple squeeze pages because i'm focusing on building my list first. I've seen someone doing it, he doesn't have a product yet that time, so he offered the list owner to promote his squeeze page. I just forgot his name and I wasn't able to ask how much it cost him. He was able to close a deal with a huge list owner for a fixed fee, If I remembered it correctly, that list owner has 12,000+subscribers, and the person who approached the list owner was able to add 1100+ subscribers.

Ahh ok, if you don't have a product then obviously you can't go down that route, no problems. The amount of money you offer really depends on the quality of the list - it's hard to say. There is no set amount you should be offering. I guess it really depends how much each subscriber is worth to you.

If you are going to go about paying someone to promote your squeeze page I would be inclined to do some testing first using PPC, Facebook, or something similar so you can get your squeeze page converting at it's best.

Thank you for your suggestion. i agree, instead of spending some money without knowing if your squeeze page will convert good, try some other things first. Actually, I've been doing article marketing, blog commenting and guest posting consistently, and I am able to add at least 5-10 subscribers a day, that's 150-300 in a month, so I think my conversion is fine. The reason why I want to do that is to grow my list faster, and reach thousands of subscribers in record time.

No one who is serious about the relationship they have with their list is going to mail just a squeeze page with no idea what is going to be offered on the other end. Lots of warriors provide a service One that comes to mind is Home Page also known as JPE Advertising run by Phil Basten and Jane Mark

Thanks Andy for your feedback. Again, I've seen someone doing this, of course the free report that I'm offering is related to the list owner's niche. I won't just approach someone not in my niche and tell them to promote my squeeze page. I will lose a lot of money if i do that, because the subscribers will not be interested in my product. I'm gonna provide an email copy to the list owner so he can add it to his AR sequence or he can broadcast it to his subscribers.

I'm also experiencing this, I'm into several marketer's list. Sometimes, I receive an email from them promoting the squeeze page only. So I guess this really works if you offer valuable free report that can be helpful to the list owner's list.

Yes, value is most important (to me at least)... you could offer to add the list owners affiliate link on your thank you email (so they get paid) - just an extra incentive

When you do JV's you would need to find someone who is in the similar product/industry that your product is ..Eg : If ,your list is about making money through bloggin you would like to target a person who has a list about internet marketing, traffic generation, making money from home etc..

If you're interested in running a giveaway event in the IM niche, try contacting Reed Floreen. I've read somewhere he'd charge you a flat $5,000 to promote your co-presented giveaway event (the other co-presenter being Reed himself) to his entire list. However, I have noticed that there are 2 marketers per month (on average) doing this with Reed. I'm not sure if it's going to be any good, anymore. I read that your requirement is to have someone promote your squeeze page, but the other point you made was to build a list fast. So, that was what I could add.

Thanks for sharing it. Yeah, I only want to do it to help me build my list fast. I'm still doing other methods to build my list and it's giving me 7-12 subscribers per day, so I would just like to add it to the current methods that I'm doing to exponentially grow my list.
