Have Written A Few Tiny E-Books+Other Stuff - What Should I Do?

Yeah. One on getting out of complete depression - meaning you lie in bed, incapacitated, all day. It's not a question if this is good stuff or not, because it ****ing is. How do I know? Because it includes stuff I have used, on myself, to get out of depression. Practically invaluable, but I want to help people so I'll prize it low (whatever that is). I heard someone saying that few pages means people don't buy it, but I hope that kind of stupidity doesn't happen.

Another book is about writing.

I have also written like a little (I think) e-mail course containing tips to how you learn to enjoy, and excel at, any job. It's based on my own experiences with picking grapes in France - where I went from crying in bed at night at the thought of having to do that again the next day, to doing it without a problem and enjoying it and doing it really, really, really well. I'm pretty sure a lot of people, if not everyone, would benefit fromr reading it.

So... what do I do with all this? I get so stressed every time I think about this stuff, having more or less willingly postponed it for months. I'm a f*cking mess. Endlessly thankful for any help. Thank you.

Okay, I have done squeeze pages for a couple products now and think I know how to do this stuff. So I'm thinking of actually using the depression book as free-bie (which I rationalize by how much I want to help people) AND wnat to know how to do it? How od I make so they can download the book when they subscribe through the opt-in? Yeah, I know I should give them an url in the thank you-mail but where do I even put the book..?

You may use these are freebies to gather leads. =) This is one way of offering them something in exchange of their contact information maybe like in an optin box.

You mentioned three different projects you've completed. I haven't done any research, but I'd tend to go with the depression theme. That has to be a huge market!

You could write some articles to get some traffic to your blog (set one up) and the use your material as an opt-in bonus to build your list as was mentioned above. That might get you some feedback and testimonials for your stuff and that could be used to promote it down the road.

And yes, find some relate products to promote as an affiliate on your blog.

You could also check ezinearticles for authors with a lot of articles related to depression. Offer them to use your publication as a bonus to their list next time they mail to it. At the end of your publication promote another product you have related to depression (create one) and see if you can get some orders.

Direct people who read your report (as described in the above paragraph) to your blog and try to opt them to your list. I've done that and it works if you can find an ezinearticles author with a good list who is willing to work with you.

wow, cool tips. hmm, mikemacmillan/pandre, do you have have 15 minutes to discuss this on yahoomessenger/msn messenger/whatever? I want to be 100% sure I'm doing the right thing - really tired of failing.

Yeah all of the suggestions above are good advice. Since the material you have is only a few pages like you mentioned it is best to offer them as a free report to build your list for the specific niche. From there after collecting the leads you can sell them with related products as an affiliate.

Build trust and provide valuable information to your list with your own experiences. This will definitely enable you to build your integrity as an expert in your niche and yiur customers will likely buy from you again and again as long as you keep providing them value.

If you think you can manage to make an ebook with at least 30-40 pages long then you could create your own sales funnel like mentioned above which would lead to increased profits.

Another alternative is to turn that material into a 5-10 minute video by either converting it to a powerpoint presentation and recording a screen capture video or, if it is something you can pull off, record yourself giving the tips you have in your mini-ebook.

Once you have the video you can use it as an incentive to build a list, incentive to survey your market to find more ideas, as a lead-in to affiliate product sales page, etc...

okay cool. I really don't see how the amount of pages in any way makes it not worth money. When it comes to actually getting out of the depression - and straight into a headspace where you can achieve awesomely - This is 10x better than any 100-pages of theory written by someone without firsthand experience (of depression and getting out of it).

If you mention a foundational principle, that people can use to beat the problem at the root, I don't see how talking about the same thing in 10 pages would be better. The more to-the-core it is, the better it is - and any confusion, when it comes to not overthinking, makes things worse.

Maybe this isn't the place to ramble about this, but...
hmm. I know that if I tried to make a 30-40 page book that would be a lot of filler. And I don't want that. But if it has to be that long, maybe I'll have to do that (and I, probably, could make something reasonable out of it).

Cool ideas so far . the video one sounds cool, but I'm not sure if it works with my current stat. isn't exactly convincing to look depressed while giving advice on how to get out of depression. Or, rather, it just doesn't work.

Maybe I exaggerated how small the books were. They are 10 pages each, so.

9 Things YOU Can Do With A 10 Page Report On Depression

            Fellow Warriors,

Did you overcome deep depression and write a 10 page report on the topic? Not sure what to do with this information? Well, you've come to the right place.

Today I'm going to share with you my free guide 9 Things YOU Can Do With A 10 Page Report On Depression

            1. Sell the report as PLR

Yes, you too can sell your story or report for other marketers to use in their campaigns.

            2. Use the report for your own free give away

Need to start building your own list? Slap that report up on the web and offer it as a free incentive! Depressed people everywhere will sign up to your list - and you can sell more stuff to them that depressed people really need!

            3. Add to this ebook some more product such as worksheets and videos and sell it on clickbank

This can be just one piece of a larger package that you can get $97 for! Make it into a video and audio version, add some additional ebooks on the topic and some worksheets.

            4. Use the content for blog fodder

What? Fodder who? No no, just use the content to make lots of blog posts. You can slap some adsense on the blog and your traffic can get tips from you and then click on the ads to bring you revenue.

            5. Upload to Free Ebook sites

Give that book away, and pack it with all kinds of affiliate links! Add some branding and link to your primary site in the footer.

            6. Offer it as a bonus to someone elses product you promote

Want to get an edge on the competing affiliates? Get customers to order products through your links and tell them you'll give them a complimentary copy of that swanky get out of depression guide.

            7. Hand it out at church

Offer it to your local places as a free book, and be sure to add some branding and contact information. You can then set up paid consultations for those one on one events.

            8. Sell it for reading on a Kindle or Nook

Published authors get all the chicks!

            9. Leave it on your hard drive and just forget about it.

No, you won't make any money with this method, but it'll be one less thing to deal with today.

Think about how you can develop some affiliates. RAP (Rapid Action Profits) has good affiliate management. Your products will automatically go into RapBank too. Something to consider. A big plus when you use RAP is the active Skype Group RAP System Enthusiast. Help, support and access to people who may mail to their lists.

You could put them in Clickbank and/or PayDotCom.

Approach blogs in your niche with an already made banner and ask them to become an affiliate and put your banner on their sites. I would give the willing participants a copy and ask them to read it and write a review also.

It is probably more effective to get a few active affiliate business partners than lots who will sign up and do little real promotion. Some will demand you show some sales first before they will promote but not all so don't let that hold you back. The Depression book could fit with a lot of self improvement and maybe even fitness and learning related blogs. Go after ones that have some traffic though, at least a couple thousand a month. You can check that at compete.com or Alexa. I use the Foxy SEO toolbar for Firefox and can get that info quickly.

  • Why not consider selling them as PLR here in the warrior forums? Under the WSO section, you don't have to worry about traffic then and can build a little bit of money as well as a mailing list.

This all sounds awesome but it's all greek to me. I have no idea what you're saying.

if I use it as a freebie to build a list - which literally makes me shudder, but whatever - then I'm in critical need of help to set up auto-responder and stuff. I have tried it before, and managed to **** it up - so. I'm destroying my life/summer over this internet marketing bull**** and I'm getting tired of it.
As soon as I start earning money I'll give you whatever you want. I don't care. Please -- simonhaestoe@gmail. com

Keep creating products in related marketets, niches and that expand on your ebooks.

Build a list and then cross promote.

Better still - start to add upsells and segregate your lists into freebie seekers (turn them into potential customers) and then your different types of buyers.

Good luck - sounds like you've on the right track for sure!
