Any Webinar Wizards Here? GotoWebinar has let me down....

Warriors,

Having a slight issue here.

Me and a friend did a webinar the other day where we basically used gotomeeting to create a video file.

What I thought I would be able to do was take that recording and upload it to GotoWebinar so that I could create a webinar that played off a pre-recorded video file.

After talking to GotoWebinar support, they tell me this is not possible to do.

Shoot!

Anyone know how to make it so that I can upload a video file and have it play in webinar format so that my attendies have to register, come to the webinar on a specific date and time, as well as get reminded a couple hours before the webinar?

The only way I can think of right now is to set up a squeeze page and a special responder message using my auto-responder...

Thanks!
Dan Brock

Can't you just run the webinar, and play the video on your screen with the sound from the speakers playing through to the mic?

Fair warning: It's possible I'm arguing with you because I have nothing better to do.

LOL! That's brilliant! Don't know why I didn't think of that.

      Something so simple!

Thanks man. I'll probably end up doing that.

Anyone have any other ideas to do it using some sort of software or service?

Russell Brunson was promoting this... Live Webinar Replay

A far cry cheaper than GoToWebinar.

No problem. I can't vouch for it because I haven't used it. Maybe I'll give it a shot though to just try out. I like to play with toys.

I would think that it's also probably pretty easy to do with the right kind of CMS rigging (depending on what you use).

I prerecord a lot of my webinars using Camtasia. I'll typically render it to a 1024 x 768 .mov, .avi or .wmv.

I simply invite people to a GoToWebinar. Then, at the preset time, I turn on the webinar system, queue up the video replay, get it playing full screen with hidden controls, and then I share my desktop and start broadcasting audio.

Have been doing it for years that way.

It's easier to do if you have two screens. You broadcast one and then have the GoToWebinar controls on the other.

Lately, I've been looking for a more automated solution.

          I found Russell's.

I also found Stealth Seminar and Webinar Replay System.

Anybody use any of these? Any feedback?

    Dan the internet man!

What'd you decide to go with? I know some of the guru's have scripts/sites that mimic a live webinar event but just replay a video. I think it's a little shady when a replay is marketed as a "live webinar" because you've got people "attending" and asking/typing questions which ultimately go unanswered.

    Live replay webinar looks interesting.
