AutoResponder Question. iContact

Hello,
Is it possible for a prospect that entered list A to be transfered to list B after a certain action? Such as a sale.
I have pre-sale email list and after-sale email lists.

I was told it can't be done unless manual.
Just wanted to get a 2nd opinion on the matter.
Thanks!

Silly question really, but have you asked the icontact support desk?

I use I-Contact and yes, it can be done rather easily.

As Andy said - it can be done only via the API, not configured from your dashboard. You can do this manually from the dashboard though.
    good luck,

Ah, yes MANUALLY. That's what I meant. Didn't realize you were looking for it to be done automatically.

If still needed, it can easily be automated with the API. There's no way to actually MOVE a subscriber, so you simply run two API calls; one to unsubscribe them, and another to subscribe them to the new list.

I've done this several times with other clients (ie. squeeze / potential list -> customer list after ordering). If you're still struggling with this, and wanted it done, a quick $60 and I'll take care of it for you. PM if needed.

    Yep the API did it.
I still am not happy with iContact tho. Wish i could have just used aweber but that just wasn't an option. I don't recomend icontact hah
