How to boost article rankings in Google?

Hi all!

I believe that there are a lot of warriors who face the same problem with their articles. Basically I've got few of them who are ranking on page 1 or 2 on Google and I was thinking about possible ways to boost their rankings

I've tried social bookmarking (Social bookmarking service. Fast tagging and posting to all major social websites - SocialMarker.com) and I tought about making few squidoo lenses which will link to my articles, but I dunno why, but my squidoo lenses aren't getting indexed

Any ideas guys?

    Hi,

My Squidoo lenses haven't been ranking either, but I noticed a couple of days ago that the one in my signature had ranked. At last! I also find that when I publish at iSnare.com, I tend to get indexed really quickly and all over the shop ... because THEY submit to thousands of directories for you (only $2 a pop). All the other methods I've used (in article marketing) are slow burners, I find. For me. It could be entirely different for others. But for me, that has been my experience. I tried HubPages for the first time two days ago. Will see how that goes.

    Hope that helps,

    Anthony

Thanks for your quick reply Anthony.
I've never heard about the iSnare website, but I've checked it and it looks promising

btw. I think that hubpages fit into "slow burners" category as well

More often than not my hubpages are indexed within a day or so - does vary by niche. I have consistently found hubpages much better for ranking than squidoo

You need to aim for a keyword density of between 1-3%. Don't go over 3% as you could get flagged for keyword abuse.

What this means is that for every 100 words have each keyword appear 1 to 3 times. Try to spread them through your article. Say for instance your article is 400 words. If you had a 1% density that would be each keyword appears 4 times. Therefore, make it appear in the introduction twice in the body and once in the conclusion.

Also remember to include the keyword/s in the article title.
