How Can I Go To Google US Homepage?

I live in Malaysia and always have this problem when I want to go to Google because I always ended up at Google ('my' at the back is for Malaysia).

How can I go directly to Google US homepage (Google) without going to Google ?

Do I need to enter some additional letters inside the URL?

Please advice.

What exactly are you looking for? If you're looking for Google's corporate information, here's the link.

You just need to use a proxy. Go to Hide My Ass! Free Proxy and Privacy Tools - Surf The Web Anonymously and there you put www. google. com and it will take you to Google USA.

        Hello jaihyppo,

You can do this without using a proxy. If you keep getting redirected to your local google search, just add ncr at the end of the url - Google will get you where you want to go. (ncr = no cookie redirect)

        Hope this helps.

Do your search on Google Malaysia then click into the adress bar and go right to the end and add this onto the address "&gl=us" (without quotes). Then press enter and you will get the search results for google .com

If you are using firefox, you can get a free plugin called "Google Global" which enables you to view google search results from any location. For example, you can customize it to, say, new york, then say you search for "repair garages" the results shown will be what a person living in new york and searching for that term would see.

Yeah... I use this plugin too where I live. Works like a charm. You can use it in many ways. It's really, pretty neat.

If you are trying to see Google's U.S. results, you can also go through the google webmaster tools for a particular site you own, and then change the setting to show U.S. version.

Another cool option is to use the Adwords preview Tool.
This tool designed to give you the ability to check your ads in a different geographic region. so only need is to choose the country you want, and run your searches,

I had a similar issue as yours , what I did was, installed google toolbar in firefox and then set the default search to google.com (US).

This should do the trick and every time you type google.com in won't redirect you to the google local search page.
