Would you buy a high-ticket PLR product that is originally being sold only to 10 people?

Hello Warriors,

Kind of free at the moment so got my mind wondering how to make money, and the idea (yea, and I'm giving it out here :p) that struck my mind was... Create a high-ticket PLR product (in the range of $249+) and sell just 10 copies of it. I'm assuming that something like a complete Business-In-A-Box would be the ideal thing to do, rather just than an ebook/single e-product.

What niche(s) would work best? How about the IM niche itself?

I have certainly done this in the past and would consider doing so again, BUT the product does need to deliver value.

  • Not only would the product have to provide real value, but the source selling the product would have to have a track record of providing value with recent products.

If the product was not being sold by a trusted authoritative source I would not purchase a product that expensive based on a sales page or a few referrals.

I would (and have) buy something like that from a trusted source with a solid history of not selling more licenses than they said they would. I've seen far too many people promise to sell only X copies, then get greedy and sell X + X + X + X.

The advantage of expensive PLR/RR products
is that it naturally attracts a type of marketer
who is unlikely to turn around and completely
devalue the product by selling it for $1.50...

While it won't lock out all bottom-feeders, it will
attract a more capable and discerning licensee.

And you will be required to deliver commensurate
    value in the offering too.

    Hanging a price tag of $(Real Value X 10) doesn't
    really cut it.

I would definitely buy a high end PLR. I am tired of crap PRL's that are sold by the truckload.

Niches for me would be anything NON-IM.
