Changed Hostgator Main Domain... Now What?

Hello, all! I need some help from the more domain-savvy here, if you don't mind.

I have a Hostgator Baby Croc plan, and my main domain name expired. (Not a problem, I didn't like the domain anyway. :p ) I'm changing it to my personal website now, which I know I'll always renew so it'll never be a problem again.

I deleted all my addon domains through the addon domain panel, filled out the domain change form, and they made the change.

Now I'm trying to figure out how to move the files from where they were as a subfolder (my personal website was an addon domain before, now it's the main one) to the main folder so it will show up, instead of the cached contents of the old main domain page.

I apologize if my explanation wasn't clear.

Thank you!

  • I didn't quite follow you, but that is not important. The answer to your question is, to call Hostgator support. They will help you.
  • Eep, I feel like I've messed up big-time now. :p

    Okay, thank you!
