Can Someone Please Tell Me What I Am Doing Wrong

Hi all,

I am running several marketing sites like the ones in my signature.
The problem is i spend a lot of money keeping traffic coming but only a few sales made per month.
Feels like i am just building up debt and no profit in return.

I tought ranking high on google was the ultimate solution to make good money but being on page 1 for many keywords did not solve the problem.

What the heck can i do?

I really need some good advise here.

The site looks a little busy to me - that may be your problem. People are attracted to the page by name but when they get there they just click away because its too fussy and they dont know where to start.

maybe focus on one offer per site and not just blast your website with as many offers as you can

Here's the problem: Your websites look like every other fly-by-nite website on the internet - all hype and b.s. Do the opposite of what everyone else is doing. I can assure you, none of those other ultra-hypey sites are making any money either.

Here's my advice: Tone down the colors and the hype, and present quality, useful, free information as your main product, interspersed with affiliate links.

You'd be surprised how easy it is to make money, when you don't try so hard.

      Hi,

You got a good point -I have really put my soul into making my websites "hype" to copy every other site that i thought was making more money than me

Really cool discription you have of my websites-"fly-by-nite website"

      haha.

I will implement your advice and see what happens

What traffic generation strategies are you using? Personally I hardly use any paid methods. With social media, article marketing, video, marketing, forum marketing, tribe syndication, blogging etc etc....there really is no need to.

My biggest advice would be to start to personally brand yourself and you can sell any product, service, e-book, course, your time until the end of time. Offer value to your followers and there will always be enough traffic to go around.

IM me if you think I can help, or connect with me on other social networks.

But don't give up...successful people never quit!

    Good Luck

Make sure there are many people who can deal with online business and they are your competitors just today. You have to deal with the best options just now – rush for online business today, because tomorrow there will not be any places at all. In case you want to work in online business you have to see it is hard, but cool and modern kind of business and it will be so interesting for you to work with online business.

      Hi Beth,

That`s just what i desited yesterday-to make my blog more "human".

87% of my traffic comes from Google.I have my site on page 1 for make money online, make money fast, how to make money, easy cash ect..but the short high traffic keywords don`t convert well-not in my case.

I have no idea what to offer my visitors course it seems like they want nothing:rolleyes:

The cost of running my main site easycash4life.com is not much but if i don`t make any money it will ruin my budget even if it costs my under $200 per month.

As a single mom who lives from paycheck to paycheck it is devatstating

        >> I tought ranking high on google was the ultimate solution to make good money but being on page 1 for many keywords did not solve the problem. I am agree with you that getting high ranking is not enough but we need to rank if we want free traffic. Instead of Money niche, you can target small niche and then rank in Google. Create some niche websites related to health, relationship and if you can rank for such niche, definitely you will make money. Even you can try once Amazon. Amazon products convert well. Just promote costly items. Otherwise commission will be very less. Other than that you can write your own guide and then offer in your blog. Since your blog is already ranking you would be able to make money selling your guide. But before that you need win their trust and you can do it through list building. Regards, Chandan

    Hi Annette -

I agree with Beth. Ask yourself what methods of traffic generation you are using, don't just stick with one. There are many great sources of lead generation out there, this forum being one of them. Keep submitting your input in this forum, commit to it, and others will notice your presence. Naturally they will be attracted to your knowledge.

Also, my advice would be to split test your webpages. You can do this through google adwords. Make changes to your alternate page and see which ones perform better, keep tweeking till you find a page that gets you the results you want.

    Hope this helps,
    Orlando

This looks like yet another money making scam. People are done with them. Why don't folks find their own niche?

I remember John Reese saying a while back that it is still possible to enter the 'make money' niche without having made a million dollars yourself. Whilst it is decidedly harder to sell such products if you are not established, it's not impossible.

My advice to the OP would be to tone down the blog a bit. Focus on one product, and get rid of flex squeeze. It's way too 'busy'. Try thesis, with the custom css for selling (Andre Chaperon uses it).

Do a good no hype, no bs review of a popular make money product and only use product keywords to drive traffic to the site. If you have money to spend and you spend in the way I recommend, you'll definitely make money.

Any problems just drop me a message and I'll try and help you (for free)

Looks like a bunch of it is copied or PLR which makes it the same as many other sites.

Just write good original content and you will do a lot better.

The problem is that you're trying to cater to the IM niche without being profitable yourself. What makes you think that you have anything to offer to that niche if you fail to make money yourself?

Hmmm.. so how much traffic are you getting from your website? Usually if you are getting 200-300 traffic a day, you can make at least $500 from it every month.

When I look at your website, you are not helping people. You are selling them stuff. And people don't like to be sold. You really need to change your approach before you can make money from your site.

IMO make the site more personal so it reveals something about yourself and more importantly connects with your visitors.

For instance, your selling MMO products. Well why did you decide to get into IM. Was your back against the wall, did you want a second income but didn't want to get a second "job", did you want a new car and decided this would be a good way to pay for it?

Tell your reader why and make the blog more appealing and readable. Use stories to emphasize certain aspects of what you're writing--for instance--tell people why you use a certain program and let them know if its been as successful as you thought it would be. More importantly let them know what you think they can do to have better results.

I agree with some of the other posts. I don't know why so many people start out online trying to show, teach or sell products on "How to make money online" when they actually haven't made any real income themselves.

My suggestion would be to pick another niche that you know about (hobby or a passion) and go with that.

    Just my opinion
