Affiliate Marketing VS CPA !

Hi all,

I have one question that is hammering in my head. Which one is the best to start with:

  • Affiliate Marketing or CPA?
  • Which one is best in terms of time consuming and money to be invested?
  • Which one is the easiets to start with for a newbie?

    First of all, "CPA marketing" IS affiliate marketing. CPA is simply a way to get paid for your marketing efforts. It stands for Cost Per Action and is used in lieu of Cost Per Sale and refers to the offer owners cost.

    Affiliate marketing is simply promoting someone elses stuff for a commission.



    With that said, most newbies start by marketing information products via sites like clickbank and such. Is that easier? I have no idea... It all boils down to what your current skills and abilities are.


    Bottom line, you can promote offers that pay on a CPA basis using the same techniques as you can promoting information products that only pay you on a sale basis.


    That leads me to believe that you're looking for the easiest way to MARKET an offer.... And there is no "right" answer to that.

    Take what you currently know and build on it. If you can write articles, maybe you want to start in the article marketing game. If you have an interest in PPC and have money to invest, check out Google Adwords and associated programs. If you're a torrent site junkie, you can use that traffic to send to affiliate offers too.


    Bottom line, you're going to have to pay one of two ways... in either time or money.
