Hello everybody- this is my first thread

DNS settings are handled at your domain registrar.

If you sign up for Google Adwords, they will tell you what you need to know to be able to set that up.

If your domain registrar has a real support team, they will be able to help too.

We were all new boys on the block at some time or another. One of the quickest ways to get answers to problems you are having is to actually enter your problem into Google. This way you may be able to get the answer you need quicker than what you could type your post here. I cannot even begin to work out how many times this simple solution has helped me out.

Another tip is, never be afraid to ask for help, especially on warrior. There is a huge collection of experienced people on here that are more than willing to help you if we can.

If you take gaz59's advice and Google what problem you want to solve, you will also come across You Tube videos that will walk you through anything you are trying to do.

Open the window of whatever task you are working on, open the appropriate YouTube vid and just follow it step by step until you get it.

SUCH a great feeling when you look at your page and you've done it!!!

after you get a domain you need a host server to place the website on.

I recommend Hostgator because in my experience their 24.7 service has been very good. They will help you do all this. Bluehost is pretty good but Hostgator Techs are smarter.

Maybe you have this going already but in case you don't: You will need some kind of website, I recommend going into your cpanel on your webhost (they will give you this information) and finding under Software/Services - Fantastico Deluxe. Open it and then select Wordpress.

You can install wordpress and have a website in 5 minutes. If the process confuses you just call your webhost tech support, they live for this kind of helping customers.

add the sitemap wp plugin and all in one seo wp plugin. Activate Askimit to block spammers (you will need to make an account at wordpress.com and get a key to activate askimit)

find some cool wp themes, there are some made for adsence ones you can find with a search.

Then with your google account set up Analytics and Webmaster Tools. Tracking is critical but you can do it in a couple days if the above takes a while. The mmore of them you make the faster and easier it goes.
