Is this even possible?

I had a guy offer me $1 an article. But he wanted 400 articles per day everyday, between 300-600 words and totally unique.

I don't think it is humanly possible. Thoughts?

Use your common sense... Ofcourse it's not possible unless you have a whole team of people working for you.

      Four thoughts:
      1. 'Tisn't possible
      2. Price is too low for any article, but especially unique article
      3. The guy has a very loose grip on reality
      4. Stay away from this one

Wow - $400/day just like that! Whew.

Even if you could write 10 unique articles an hour - you would need 40 hrs per day and more stamina than the average duck.

BUT - opportunity could be around the corner

If you charged him $2 per articles....you could hire 40 writers to write 10 articles/day for $1 each - and you'd be at $400 a day with little effort. Did he want those in English?

I think the unemployed in India get more than $1 an article. And, no. One person is not able to write anywhere close to 400 articles a day, or even in a week for that matter.

My wife is doing article posting for me during this summer, and she is doing good to just POST 100 articles a day, and these are pre written articles.

It's official...I've heard it all now! And to think, I was still laughing at the guy who offered me $2 per article and needed me to send him articles 365 days a year - no exceptions.

400 articles in one day?? Seriously, some dimwit offered you a whole dollar per articles for 400 daily, unique articles.

So let's break this down, and yes at this point I'm having fun with this because it is so sad that someone actually had the audacity to make this offer in the first place.

24 hours in a day divided by 400 articles comes to 16.66 articles per hour.

Now going by for the average we will say he gets 400 words per article equaling 160,000 words an hour which is roughly 2,667 words per minute.

That is some fast typing my friends. Quick somebody get a fire extinguisher.

BTW - You did tell the guy to kick rocks didn't you??

mmmmmmm - 16.66 articles per hour = roughly 3 minutes per article. If each article is 400 words that = 400 words in 3 minutes.

Approx 130 words per minute. Still fast!

I wonder if the original enquirer mixed up his 0s. Maybe he meant to say $10 per article and 40 articles per day!!!

That, or he's living in cloud cuckoo land. He must have a serious team of outsourcers behind him just to post, bookmark etc that many articles.

He'd probably been on the funny fags or the toxic juice

Maybe the guy then sells them for $2 each and makes $400 a day for himself.

Nice work if he can get it.

lol @ 2,667 words per minute.

When writing unique content related to research I might be able to write at around 26 words per minute....when people say they can type 100 or more words per minute, remember that they are copying something word for word. Writing out your thoughts and contemplating while writing will drastically slow down the pace, if its quality material you are producing that is. Writing a love letter or shooting the shnizz is different. This is a ridiculous idea.

Ok, hey guys: Listen I'm not some freakin' idiot. I know damn well it is not possible. I just posted here to see what type of response there'd be. And YES I told him to pound sand. I did say I could get a team together and charge him $2 per article. HE said he could get it cheaper. LOL.

400 articles per day at an average of 450 words per article = 180,000 words per day

that is equivalent to about 10,000 words per hour IF you work an 18 hour day...hmmm maybe if you had a speech recognition program that could hit the 2.78 words per second.

Not possible...not for 18 hours straight. Tell him to go pound salt and get in touch with reality.

    Yes, it's possible.

And it can be totally, 100% unique - every one of them.

He wants uniqueness, but I didn't see anything about the articles having to make sense.

You could probably create a program that spews out random words. Have it do 180,000 words. Then all you need to do is add a few capital leters and the occasional period, throw in some paragraph breaks and you're good to go.

After all, he would be getting what he's paying for.

I understand the whole outsourcing work at low rates to accomplish more, especially if it is something you don't care to do yourself like writing. But c'mon, what do people think? Sometimes it just amazes me the number of business people both offline and online that expect something for the nothing. Then they wonder why the business continues to fail.

Cypher - I wasn't raggin on you, just found the absurdity of such an offer made to you a little funny. My mind had to really place it into perspective.
