hi

i have a question to you all

i have a blog where i have a plugin that take a RSS feed that i give him and auto post it on the blog when i tell it to.

- 3 different articles from ezinearticles - RSS - 1 from each category
- 3 RSS posts from Google news
- and 3 RSS posts from another news site

second thing it does, it's auto bookmark it on 4-5 random bookmark sites.
then it ping's it automatically to a long ping list i gave it
all this done every 6 hours from different sources

what do you think of it ?

will it be successful or because it's duplicate content it will be a failure?

  I'm interested in the answer too for one of my sites, but here's my take:
  
  It all depends on how you define "success" but if you're not massaging the content at all and/or the entire site contains ONLY automated content, then I don't suspect it'll give you phenomenal results in itself.
  
  Remember that there are a ton of tools out there can do these types of automated scraping, so that means there's already a bunch of people doing this, but if it's part of an overall content strategy, it may work... but then again I've never used this technique, so I'd love to hear from people who've been in the trenches!

  I am doing it, like you said, as a part of the overall content creation process. I am adding unique content as well, but still don't really know if it worth something.

  Well it's worth a shot... start small and make sure not to use your "main" social bookmarking user accounts (in case they get banned).

I don't think it will be very successful in turning a great profit. If you are building up the blog to possibly sell it then it might provide a good start in establishing it. Otherwise you are going to want origional content on the blog as well.
