Can you integrate Aweber with 1shoppingcart?

Is it possible to set up an opt-in form so that after the lead has typed in their name and email and they hit submit that the details are registered on both my Aweber and 1shoppingcart accounts?

I believe I've seen a site which may be doing this:

My Membership Empire

The reason I want to do this is I want to use 1shoppingcart's affiliate management system to track the number of leads each of my affiliates refers, but at the same time I'd prefer my leads to be in my Aweber account as that is where all my other lists reside.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Forgot to say, I did come across FusionHQ.com but I'm not sure this will do what I'm looking for.

Curtis that is useful, thank you - But it is not what I'm looking for.

I am looking to integrate them for leads (and nothing to do with orders)

      Hi Chris

As the affiliate manager of FusionHQ I was alerted about this thread. I am not 100% on your specific needs.

Simple answer yes, you can add to aweber and 1shoppingcart simultaneously through one optin form. Though there are other factors that need to be considered in order for that to work.

Please PM me to discuss in further detail. I need to know more about the way you plan to use it.

      Cheers

Hi all, just bringing back to the top...

If anyone knows how to set up an opt-in form so that the subscriber opts in to both Aweber and 1shoppingcart at the same time (with one click of the mouse) that would be really appreciated.

      Thanks in advance.

Chris, if you're using PHP or ASP or any kind of server side scripting, you can set up the form event to fire off multiple posts to different form handlers.

I actually do this myself on my site, automatically subscribing someone to an annoucnement list and also a general list. My code is all VB.NET though.

I'm not as familiar with 1SC these days and how they treat new leads, but I setup a system to do this for a client where we were using Infusion and Aweber. Unfortunately the best case scenario will require the user to click twice, however with some smart marketing tactics we've been able to get 98% of all leads to pass through our confirmation page.

Step 1. Have them optin to 1SC first so they get cookied and tagged to the affiliate.

Step 2. On the 2nd page, display a stop sign image and a short message that says "Before we can send you the download link, we need you to confirm the spelling of your email address below."

Then you simply catch the variables from 1SC and pre-fill in the Aweber form so all they have to do is click a single button to proceed to the next step (assuming this is your download page or sales letter).

      Works like a charm!
