  • If the PDF is less than 1 megabyte, you can "broadcast" a message with the report as an attachment.

There are other options but this is one.

    Hope this helps.

  • Just upload it to your website and insert the download link in the email

EDIT: And you can also try attaching the file with the email on the broadcast email screen.

  • Go to messages, and select Broadcast Message.

Then create New Broadcast Message. Type in whatever text you want to introduce the PDF report. When you are done, click the blue "Attach a File" button and attach your PDF report.

Then send the broadcast to your list.

    That should be it.

    Good Luck!
  • i want to add it to my autoresponder, ive got it on my hard drive

    • JonnyBalfour,

When you "Attach a file" it will be uploaded to AWeber's system. When the message is sent, AWeber will be using the copy that is on their system.

  • upload the pdf to your server. Then create or edit a follow up message in your aweber account for the list it is for. Include the link to your pdf in the message. Now when they sign up for your newsletter, one of the follow up messages they get ( preferably number 1 ) will have your message along with the download link for your pdf.

If you cant figure out how to accomplish this just let me know. I will see what I can do to help.
  • Perhaps another option would be to share the file on Simple private real-time sharing and collaboration by drop.io and then simply put the URL in the email you want to send out. Then folks can download the file at their leisure and you don't need to fuss with uploads as well as filtering of your email because it has an attachment ;-)
  • hey ernie thanks for that mate, one question where about do i upload it, is it the public html?
    • [1] reply
    • Yeah, upload it into the public_html folder. That would result in it being
      Code:
      http://www.yoursite.com/yourreport.pdf
You can additionally create another folder to upload it into as well. for ex. public_html --> Report --> yourreport.pdf The actual location would then be
      Code:
      http://www.yoursite.com/Report/yourreport.pdf
  • Yes, I'd go for the link on a webpage as described by Ernie...it will be a skill worth mastering.

    • don't ever send bulk email with an attachment. That will KILL your delivery rate. You are getting good advice from those telling you to link to a site where the file is hosted and put that link in your email. Aweber should remove the option to send attachments with broadcasts because it's such a bad idea.
