Getting accepted to the Ebay Partner Network

This is the 1 network that I can't simply get accepted to.

Does anyone have any tips ?

I've hear everything from buying an aged domain(3-5 years) to people saying its just luck.

I used hubpages and got in without a problem, but from what I heard that isn't possible anymore. I'd say try to 'sell' what you do as good as possible. It'll be the only way to convince them. Also, I believe you need to sign up with a site that doesn't have advertising yet (heard that somewhere, don't know if that's true, but it's worth a shot).

Then once you get that established submit that site to ebay. And once you get accepted you can place the ebay ads on any website you have. Just do what you got to do to get approved. I wish you all the best.
I actually used my company page that has about 6 pages of solid unique info in regards to SEO and Iphone apps. Rejected.

Then i used my autoblog. Rejected.

Then i used my make money online informational blog that i handwrite. Rejected.

I just dont know how much more I can take..

    Haha will try again today.

You might like to look at eBay categories and then tailor your blog so that it provides relevant information without selling anything. For example, choose a niche like antiques and write at least ten good articles that would provide valuable information to antique buyers.

This is all about complementing what eBay does, hence the category choice. Keep it professional, upmarket and looking as if this is your web focus and you should have a better chance of getting in...

I say better because I know that eBay is a fickle beast!

  • Honestly, I think a lot of eBay acceptance is luck, but if you have a 'good' domain (whether that's aged is open to interpretation) you're going to dramatically improve your odds.

So, it can be worth trying to buy an established domain if that will work as a long term strategy for you.

Another way into it (this is speculation, so shoot me down if it doesn't work), is to try and go through a domain programme other than the US one. That will work better if you have an international domain. It's usually the case that, once you're accepted by one programme, you have more chance with the partners.

How To Get Approved by eBay Partner Network

Read this. The guy helps make sure you're setup in such a way, that WHEN you are rejected (not if), you can fight it, and finally get accepted.

It's a link that I got from a WF thread a while back, and I've given it out a few times, and it's had good results. I've personally never tried it, tho.
