Where Do I Post My Content First

Over my short span here , I have noticed a lot of post and threads concerning where to post content first .

This is coming from someone who does not use EZA . At least not anymore ( different story lol)

If given only two choices , one being my site and the other EZA, I am choosing my site but ....

You better let Google and the other search engines decide where you post first .

Do a Google search for the exact keyword you are wanting to target . For those that let rank one scare you .. we will look at the first three rankings .
What tools are they using to get ranked by Google ?

If Google seems to think their end user is getting the best end result from an article, post to a good article directory first .

A blog post , go for your site first .

A static page ... better sharpen those HTML or WYSIWYG skills .

By linking back to your site or blog when given the chance , your site is going to rank number one eventually as a site will, sooner or later , become the most relevant source of information.

As stated, I am a big my site first person. It is always the main channel.

This still doesn't mean I publish everything I write on my property . Everything I write has an intended purpose. That purpose being to deliver all the traffic I can get to my own site .

This means some content for my blog , my sub-domains, my home directory, and several for syndication and even more for re-purposing .

Some will think there is a definitive answer to the question of site or directory first . In all reality their is a true answer. Google has the answer if you know the right questions to ask.
