adsense vs affiliate programmes

INTERNET MARKETING

I was considering adsense but have been told the best way to go is setup pages to sell things with affiliate programmes i.e cb products then try and interact some private adverts as it pays better.

Adsense ain't what it used to be. Definitely go with Affiliate Programs.

  Don't waste time with adsense unless you have a "hobby site" that you aren't too focused on monetizing, it'll earn you money over a long period of time with minimal traffic but affiliate programs are the best for real money.

I have always had much higher earnings monetizing my sites through affiliate programs, there are so many niches and options for promotion.

You can use it to monetise your site but still try in your affiliate programm because you can get alot out of it. It has really worked

I also recommend going with Affiliate Programs. You have to have a lot of traffic to make much with Adsense these days, and even then you'd make more with the right affiliate program.

Due to all the "get rich with adsense" ebooks and products, and google's massive promotion of it adsense is pretty bad. In the beginning people would click a link they thought looked interesting etc.. Now people are so used to seeing them everywhere they rarely click them at all.

I also agree - go with affiliate products. I do have a couple of adsense sites though, that have been earning me some pretty decent money lately!

IMO, if you have a site with affiliate products don't put too many adsense ads on it (if any). Ads can lead people right off your site before they even have a chance to check out your product!

I have 2 websites totaly different niches. for one, Google keeps giving me pennies per click. The other niche I wouldn't give up my $3 clicks .

So, if your niche is highly poular then Adsense can work great. If it's a "niche niche" then aff products are the better choice.
