As of 8:46 PM, "Hey Caliban, you up?" has joined my roster of "subject lines that make me unsubscribe from your list immediately."

What's the most recent on yours?

Do you even have a list like that?

Do you ever think maybe you should?

Yup, I've gotten that one. Not enough to put it on the list, though.

Can't say the same about "I need your PayPal address" and "You've got funds." Those two have been on my list for a while.

Thankfully, most of them get filtered really well for me by Gmail these days, but I also particularly dislike those mails that try to get you to open the thing by attempting to trick you into thinking you've received a commission.

Among the popular ones, I always receive "You've got funds" and "Your response is REALLY needed" kinds. But, honestly asking if you're already up sounds good! I just ignore them though because some may of their offers still interest me.

Gmail makes lots of terrible mistakes thus you still have to read your spam folder.

    What kind of mistakes?

I have all my spf DKIM etc set up correctly on my server, yet Gmail still occasionally sends messages from my contact form to the spam bin.
Fortunately all of those emails get rescued by an enforced whitelist.

Gmail also wrongly decided that all iContact emails sent for a couple of days were phishing.

Then there are all the email replies etc.

Current headlines I am already bored with?

I have got past that stage... most get filtered into various labels for future reference and one of these days I will get someone to script something that maps out who promoted what for who.
