Hey ya´ll

Or good morning I should say since it´s 5.45 am here in Thailand ... I feel like I´m 70 yo waking up this early.

I´m doing a little "scientific research" on IM:ers daily routines.

My daily routines looks something like this:
  • 5-6: Wake up (way to early)
  • Almost before I open my eyes I crawl over to the desk and fire up my computer (it´s 1 meter from my bed).
  • Get the kettle started
  • Stumble, still half a sleep, to the toilet
  • Back to my bedroom, poor my self a cup of strong, black coffee
  • Checking my Email accounts, read some news
  • On to my notepad (I favor pen and paper, maybe another age sign) and continue where I left off the day before
Share your daily routines with the community boys and girls ... Because we´re all in this one man show biz (that's why I'm building up a team at the moment), and it get´s isolating at times.

5:00 or 6:00 wake up call... Kudos to you! That's much earlier than I can handle!

I get up around 8 and immediately start working. I take a few breaks during the day - gym, shower, dinner, etc. To me, there's nothing worse than sitting in front of the computer for so long that your eyes start to spin!

I usually wind up working way later than I planned on. I guess that's the downside to working from home... You always think of something else that can be done!

I should take those gym breaks my self ... I think I've seen a picture of a "gym" once ...

About working late; Working with IM from home is not even near comparable with a 9-5 job. I would say I'm working 24/7, you can't just switch it off ... I'm going through my ongoing projects in my mind while a sleep, I remember one time I was thinking to my self (in my dream): "What the hell is wrong with this keyboard" ... woke up and found my self typing on a pillow ... Talk about damaged
