Question On Article Marketing/Blogging

0 replies
I'm horrible at explaining myself sometimes, haha...but here goes,

I would like to build an authority site with my blog promoting health and beauty products as an affiliate. I'm new to everything (haven't made a penny online yet) but I'm learning....so I have alot of questions.

I would like to one day make money from my blog of course and so I plan on eventually promoting it in a variety of ways in the future, but for starters I've decided to begin with article marketing.

(First off, any advice on the best way to promote articles, aside from submitting them to as many directories as possible, being sure my blog is indexed first, and good keyword content?)

What I originally planned was to write 100 articles for each product I pick up as an affiliate, each using the top best 100 keywords for article content as well as for the title.

I was going to submit the best one to my blog (with all of the best information and an affiliate link) then the next 10 best to the top 10 articles directories, and use the rest as backlinks to random article directories.

Each article would of course link people either directly to my blog or directly to the sales page, or both.

I thought it would be better to do it this way in the long run because I eventually intend of having many categories on my blog pertaining to whichever products I pick up, such as skincare, haircare, nail categories, etc. Then for example under skincare I would have another mini-category called 'mole removal' or something of the sort.

I'm asking on the forums because I've been talking with a few different people and most of them tell me to go ahead and post all of the articles I write to my blog first then submit them to other directories. Also that I should drip post them to publish one a day over time.

I mean, that sounds alot easier, and faster, and a great way to get your blog up and running (which I really need right now)

But then I start thinking as a 'reader' to my blog and I'm thinking of them coming to my blog and typing 'mole' into the search, or going through past archives. Wouldn't it be rather annoying to come across a bunch of posts (from the same person) that says "How to remove a mole, mole removal, mole removal at home, how to remove a mole at home"?

They are all worded differently of course, but they all have basically the same general 'mole removal' information. I mean, perhaps my traffic and SEO would be good but wouldn't that somewhat decrease conversions?

So...I guess what I'm asking is what would be best? Like I said, I'm new to all of this so what do I know really, haha. I need some professional bloggers or some professional article marketers or both up in here to give me the low down on how this is all done, done right, and done best.

What I really need is to figure this out so that I can put my business plan together, start crackin' at it all day everyday and get my business goin! But I want to do it right....as right as I can anyhow, and I suppose that is where all you kick ass people come in =)

Please let me know...advice, guidance, or anything else is greatly appreciated! Thanks so much!

Bre =)
