CPA Affiliate spammers on Facebook

I run a couple of pretty well populated fan pages for a very specific niche on Facebook.

Every day, multiple times I get the pleasure of cleaning up affiliate CPA spam posts of garbage.

"Hi I love this blog. I found a great deal on an iPhone it's free! http://..."

Want to know why so many people have such a terrible view of internet marketing and think that it's all a bunch of scamming garbage and spam?

That's why right there.

If you engage in this kind of activity, you're nothing more than a kid with a spray can out tagging people's property in hopes that someone will click on your scam link before the property owner comes along with some whitewash and cleans up your mess.

What those people probably don't realize is that if someone complains to the actual network that is running the offers, they will more than likely have their account banned.

Who cares what so many people think about your occupation? The only thing that you should care about is what your potential customers think of what you are selling. If you come across as an Internet marketer, then they may lump you into what you described above, BUT if you come across as somebody that has a solution to their problem, then you come across as a hero.

It's really up to you how you are viewed. Act like a scumbag and they will think you are a scumbag. Act like problem solver and you become their best friend.

Yea I do agree that a lot of people are giving a bad view for internet marketer's but the important thing is not to mind them, you are building a reputation for yourself so as long as you are giving them a solution to their problem you will be very successful. All the best.

Well guys, the only reputation that these CPA spammers are giving to people is that #1, the offer sounds like a scam, so don't click on the link and #2, the places that they post their garbage are run by people who have to spend time cleaning up their crap.

Affiliate spammers aren't offering any solutions, they're creating problems.

You're not alone Michael. It happens on YouTube too. I had some crud tell me he'd show me how to get my videos a premium listing if I just filled out a quick survey.

Yep, like an idiot I did it, but then when I tried to click through it kept taking me back to the survey saying I'd missed something out and to do it again.

When I realized what was happening I tried to contact the culprit, but he was long gone. These people don't help anyone and I wish they'd go fry their two-faces in hot fat!

    Cheers, Ray.

    p.s. YouTube users beware!

Really they annoys lot, i have to daily delete like 2 - 3 of them from my community everyday.

    Michael,
Dude, totally agree with your post. Here’s my take on it. The people running the CPA offers you’re reading are probably new, and they just bought some lame a$$ CB product that told them to market in that manner.

There are a lot of spammers on FB, that’s one of the reasons I shut my account down. Too many sucky marketers.

Another thing is this. Even though the nitwits are running spammy CPA offers…at least they are trying. Again, they bought some lame a$$ CB product…but took action. Kudos to them.

Last, the spam marketing must work for some. Otherwise you’d never see it. Kind of like life insurance and health insurance salesmen that have big goofy bandit signs on the side of the road that say “Need Life Insurance?” Yea, it’s a piss poor way to advertise, but it must be effective. Otherwise nobody would do it.

    Later days,

    Shane

P.S. To go full circle. I spam the goobers that post crap on my blog too. Good times and fuzzy bunnies.

There are a lot of ways to earn money on Facebook. It is only natural that spammers will take their place. Remember what happened to Myspace? The same thing will eventualy happen in Facebook.
