Partnering with an expert to launch Clickbank product

I tried searching but couldn't find anything on this topic. A family friend is an expert in a (non im) niche and has even written a book on the subject. I did some keyword & competitive research and determined that it would be very easy to rank and get traffic on this niche. I would like to partner with this person to launch his book as an ebook using Clickbank.

No lists or huge product launches. I need to get the site on clickbank and I will proceed to drive traffic to it directly.

Has anybody partnered with an "expert" to do this? I don't know what type of revenue/profit split ups would be fair or how to really get going as I have never launched a cb product. Any advice is appreciated.

    Yes we are currently working on a project like this with an expert in a non-IM niche and are splitting the profits 50/50. It's still in very early stages, and he is just now starting to write and generate the content. Small expenses like hosting, Amazon S3, domain name, etc I am just covering, however for larger expenses like PPC campaigns and such we will split those costs 50/50.

    What do you mean by "no lists or huge product launches"? I'm assuming you don't want to do a big JV-fueled product launch, which is fine, but what about "no lists"?

    Do you not have a list?

    You're going to need a list to do a launch: either your own or someone else's

    Otherwise, you won't have a launch. You may make sales from other traffic sources, but that won't count as a launch.

    Also, what exactly do you need an expert for?
