Clickbank Tracking Issue?

Hey everyone,

I've just been looking at my Clickbank statistics.

I have an order form submit on a product yesterday, but the commissions haven't showed up for me yet.

Is this an issue, or do commissions sometime take time to be credited.

I don't use Clickbank much, so I'm wondering if I need to contact them about this?

Shall I let you have the bad news now or later?

From my experience with Clickbank, if you see an order form submit and no commission then you are Sore outa luck.

It sucks because I have weeks where I can have 10-15 order form submissions and no sales. Don't ask me what the hell it means cause I don't have an answer but, it pretty much sucks to see a conversion that meant nothing.

Your best bet may be to ask Clickbank, I dunno. I would but I know I am not that interested to hound them until I get a real answer.

Although it is better than before Clickbank's tracking is far from perfect.

The best thing to do is persevere. I know it can be tempting to look at your stats constantly but try to keep going and increase the number of hops you get.

When you have a large enough sample you can get a more reliable earnings per hop figure and decide if it is worthwhile promoting the product.

I had this problem awhile ago when I ran an Adwords campaign for a particular product heavily for about 2 weeks. Tons of order form submits, but the sales didn't match.

From what I was told, order form submits and no sales can show for a number of reasons, such as an invalid credit card, wrong credit card number entered, wrong expired date entered, wrong credit card type selected, etc. It will come through as a submission, but no sale. I've seen this happen before, but since I pushed a ton of traffic and the ratio was higher than usual, I contacted Clickbank and that is what they verified with me.

During those two weeks, I had a high ratio, but I was also dealing with a downloadable software product where most people were trying to get it for free in some way, which explains why I had a high volume of submits but a lower number of actual sales.

With Clickbank, that's just part of the game.
