Where To Sell A "Real Life" Business?

Hey Folks -

I have a close client of mine who is looking to sell his business...Its a delivery route which pushes $20k revenue per month...Anyway!

Where would a person go to sell a business like that?
If only it was a website, I could tell him to go straight to Flippa

Do a Google search for "Business Broker Your Town" and the nearest one will show up in the map listing. That's how I found the brokerage in Houston that sold my last offline business for me.

Route sales are sold on craigslist as well.

Your client could also let your local CPA's know about the business for sale as well - some of them have clients who want to buy another biz...

You could also just list it in the paper. I know it seems oldschool, but I feel like the kinda guys who want to drive a route still read the newspaper. There are always listings for these in my town....
