I wish I knew how to send traffic to my Amazon site. I made 15 sales today.

If I could do that everyday, I could stop working my job.


Any tips?

    If you do not know how to send traffic to your site, how did you manage 15 sales in 1 day?

      I found a good keyword and used a Amazon plugin . That's it. I did not even build any backlinks to it.

        Finding a good keyword is typically the part people struggle with most.

        Take advantage of this with writing some great articles for this keyword, creating some web 2.0 properties, etc.

          You and me both...

          I've been having some success with Amazon, and a couple of days ago sold close to $2K worth of product in one day on one of my sites, (around $130 commission, at 6.5%). If I could do that every day I would seriously look at this full time.

          The traffic I'm getting to this particular site is coming from a directory that I shouldn't really be in, they don't like affiliate sites, only genuine owner sites, but I did nothing to get it in there. Somehow their crawler bot found me and is crawling me every day and including my links with the others (even the original amazon.com site).

          This could stop tomorrow, if a human looks at the site, but it does prove that if you can get the traffic to your amazon affiliate site, the sales will come.

          So... back to your original post... how to get the traffic... answers on a postcard please

          Excellent find. That's definitely a buying keyword.

          Your blog post wont stay on the first page for long. You know you have a keyword that converts. See if you can take over that results page with more pages/properties. Maybe even an exact match domain name?

          Could make a quick video.
          Upload a pdf or powerpoint presentation on scribd, docshare, slideshare(stays on first page for awhile), docstoc, authorstream and slideboom.

    Congrats buddy!

    I recommend you take a big step back now and analyze your success.

    Try to really figure out what it was about your keyword research and work that was beneficial to your success. Take time to figure out what about that keyword and niche is unique compared to the rest of the niche it is in and try to apply that to other niches.

    Keyword rich domains and a simple on-site optimization should be enough to land you with a high ranking for most micro niches. Some basic backlinking or even just directory submissions should suffice because if you optimize it right, you'll end up being more relevant than the other pages anyway.

    I see niches every day where the top page has 1-5 backlinks, and the second page has somewhere in the range of a few thousand, but since the top page is optimized SO well and is SO relevant (title, keyword, description, h1, meta etc) that Google has no choice but to put it on top.

    They've been making major revamps to offer the user the BEST search experience possible lately, and I'd say they've done a good job, MayDay and Caffiene aside (after all that's finally calming down)...

    Just my two cents!

    YouTube Videos! Pick a product you already own or want to own, do a (mostly) positive review about it, and you have a great potential to make money on it. Just remember to put your link in the description box and verbally let viewers know to click on it to go straight to the product. Otherwise, you'll be getting oodles of comments and PM's asking "where can I find this?" I get that sometimes.
