How much "QUALITY CONTENT"?

Well, right now I know I am doing quite good. Question is simple.

I agree that quality matters but for excellent results how much quality articles you need to submit each day? Because I heard that even 4 high quality articles are enough in a week.

Now, obviously you cant say that submit 6 or 10 articles like a bum. Am not asking about bum marketing.

Right now I am thinking to move on to two more niches. Now, Should I submit one article on each (3 niches) or I stay on one niche and write 3 quality articles on it ? and for excellent results how many quality articles you need to submit each day?

Again, I am only talking about quality content... not asking about bum marketing.

My biggest site has 1500 pieces of content on it right now. Half are articles, 35% videos, and 15% podcasts.

I specialize in creating authority sites though. I will be getting traffic from that content for years pretty much guaranteed.

All this is quality content that either I created or one of my trusted outsources did.

Of course you don't need that much, but I like the more the better. You wouldn't believe some of the keywords that people search that find my stuff. I've noticed that with my strategy on backlinking each article, I can expect about 1 person to view my site each day per piece of content. That's for the long run too.

This is a solid strategy, that I advise the OP to work towards.

Keep putting out content. The more the better.

There is no minimum or no maximum.

If you're talking about submitting articles to directories, there's no magic number. Basically, it's whatever you feel comfortable with. If you have time to submit 10 unique articles a day, go for it. If you feel comfortable submitting 1 or 2, that's ok too. The goal is to be consistent. Fair or not, sometimes the search engines will get suspicious if you submit 20 articles one day and 2 the next.

However, one point that I've noticed in my own articles - don't submit them all at once. It can take awhile for the spiders to catch up, and in some cases, you end up 'competing with yourself'. I leave at least a day or 2 (sometimes even more than that) before submitting a new article to the same directory.

Good points. But actually right now I am comfortable with 2 to 3 quality articles. But how much effort you need for excellent output?

I am assuming you are talking about the effort put into writing each article.

That pretty much depends on the level of your writing skill. I consider myself a pretty good writer and will spend about an hour on making an article extremely high quality, unique content.

I like my articles to be in the 500-700 word range, more towards 700 words.

I like to do all the research on my own. Spend my time writing the original copy, and then continually revising it.

Then, because I put a lot of work into my articles, I throw some backlinks at them through other directory submissions (I prefer to do all manual), tweeting the article, blog commenting, etc.

      Great tips Nicole.

Prosperityking I feel the effort question can be answered only by you. As a rule when you have a clear set goal in mind whatever acts you perform feel effortless. Tell yourself: "5 articles today, no matter what!" Be purposeful and driven, don't stray from your goal or make excuses and watch how easily it happens. This is the power of a directed, focused mind.

I recently penned 19 articles in 11 hours. I had a clear-cut goal in mind which led the writing to flow smoothly. It didn't feel like work.

If it comes down to conversions at the end of the day. Does your content connect with the intended audience? If so, it will make you money.

This subject caught my eye because its title is such an oxymoron.

If we're talking about true quality, then quantity is irrelevant. If you submit a damn good article that outshines the rest, you've got a great marketing tool right there, I would think.

Exactly what JEL0221 said. It's all about how fast you can research/write. Most of the articles I publish are 450-500 words. To do all the research for it and write it takes me about an hour total, but I'm a fast writer. If it takes you longer, don't worry!

To me, article marketing is such a valuable part of my business that I spend a good deal of time on it. In fact, I'm constantly brainstorming ideas for my next articles. If I have time, I'll write a bunch of articles in advance, and have them ready whenever I need to submit something new.

I think a good general rule of thumb to follow is to write an article that is good enough to use as content on your site.

Although you will probably writing a lot fewer articles, and you may not get as many click throughs (because of the length of content), you will find that conversions on the page your article is linking to will be much better.

This style of article writing is engaging for the audience, and in many cases, already sells the reader before they even click through to your linked page.

Yup...It really doesn't matter how many articles you post per day, etc. What matters is that the articles you're publishing are a reflection of you and your business. Quality content, whether it's on-site or off, is how you will be judged. It will separate you from your competitors. It will give you legitimacy (or, if it isn't good, it will damage your credibility)

Don't get caught up in the numbers. Instead, focus on making a good impression to anyone who's going to see it. It may sound cheesy, but you really only do get one chance to make a good first impression!

Some of my articles take 4 - 6 hours to make. I'am lucky if I get to post 2 - 3 quality articles in a week.

      How much "QUALITY CONTENT"?
As much as you can - and it depends on what you call "quality" content.

For some people, quality content is a 200 - 300 word article - with no images or videos.

For some people, quality content is 1,000 words - with no images or videos.

For some people, quality content means filming their own videos, taking their own pictures, and writing a 1,000+ word article.

Lets say you make your own videos, and you include drive time to the filming location, film time, editing, encoding, uploading,,,, you could be looking at hours upon hours just to make the video.

Then you write the article, which might take 2 - 4 hours. Then you embed the video you filmed just for that article - your looking at a whole weekend project.

A lot of it depends on "your" definition of "quality."

My personal idea of a "quality" article is one that is 1,200+ words, has at least 1 video, and has at least 3 pictures. The video and the pictures were taken just for the article. The video and pictures were taken at a location that enforces the strength of the article.

Here is a little tip I use to write quality articles, blog posts, whatever. Find another article in the niche you are in that you TOTALLY DISAGREE WITH. Then, pretend that the author of that article wrote it specifically to you in an email.

Then just write the response showing how they are totally wrong, and the correct way to do it is...

Guess what? You just wrote a powerful article and it is most likely already packed with great keywords because you wrote it in a state of passion. In fact I bet you do this all the time on this forum!

    Works for me.

This is a very good method for writing an engaging article.

This way, your writing is naturally passionate about the subject matter.
