Using the vendors 'free report'

The vendor for the product I'm trying to promote, has a really good free opt in report. I want to use his report within my own list, is this allowed? Since I am trying to promote his own product?

  • We are not the people to ask. You need to ask the vendor.
  • I think it's not allowed, unless he authorizes you. Regardless the product you are promoting, the report is not a PLR product that you can distribute to your subscribers.

However, if you have a big list you may try to contact the vendor and ask for permission to give away his report to your subscribers.

  • This is highly unlikely to be allowed. The crux of the matter is that the vendor wants this opt in himself.

One thing that might be worth checking is, if you send the traffic to the squeeze page, they opt in, and then subsequently go and purchase whatever the product is, do you get paid? If so, that could be a viable strategy for you.

  • Not allowed unless you get permission from the vendor. Otherwise it'd be copyright infringement among other things.
  • Not allowed, therefore get permission from the vendor

  • Permission is required from the vendor.

However I would suggest that you go for PLR content, create your own bonuses and use them to build your business.

  • feel free to contact the vendor...
he/she will allow you (I guess)
but you need to ask permission
