Newbie here, finally got my first clickbank affiliate sale after 6 months

Hi all, I'm Neil from England, UK. I just joined up on these forums after a friend of mind told me about them. I lost my job in Jan this year and have been an out of work musician for some time. I decided to put my musical knowledge to use by creating a guitar tuition ebook that sets people on the road to mastering the guitar.

I finished the ebook and set up a site in Jan this year,

Since then, I've been trying to figure out how to market it and make money online from affiliating etc. I have had virtually no money to market with, so have had figure out how to market for free. I've started writing articles. I've also done Youtube video marketing and some affiliate promotion via Twitter.

Anyway, I affiliate with some other products and I got my first affiliate sale on monday. I am very happy because although I've only made $27, it's a start.

Now I need to get better at this and market more extensively with articles etc.

    Congrats Neil. Once you start making more money you should reinvest as much as you can into your business if you want it to grow. Don't be so quick to think of it all as cash-in-hand. Look to put it back into your stuff. Good luck.

      Thanks Bill, yes I will surely reinvest any earnings back into this so that I can grow my business, thanks for the reminder as people do forget this concept.

    The longest journey begins with a single step.

    You have already taken the hardest one ... the next ones will be much easier.

    Work on promoting sales from your website.

    Look into PLR content ... add some bonuses as that will help conversions immensely.

    Create a blog, and offer content value there ... this will give you a list, and sell things to the list.

    As others have said, wash, rinse and repeat! Additionally congrats. Getting that first sale is usually the thing that gets the fire started under your ass.

    Woohoo! Excellent work. Now about that marketing...consider studying up on some techniques (blogging, classified ads, etc) and outsourcing the actually task at hand. I know you can usually get good data workers for $2/hour to $7/hour. Hope that helps ya out :-)
