niche marketing overwhelming? shortcuts, tips?

So I started testing niche marketing sites in the last few months - mostly doing testing but not sure what it is leading to.

A little background - I have made money in my own niches by creating niche products. But this all took lots of time and energy and I want to create some auto-pilot sites that generate $50-200 a month each and maybe make 100 sites.

But I am finding that this niche site thing is also taking lots of work.

I bought MarketSamurai, MicroNicheFinder and find them both time consuming. I use google EKT and some php to find my niches now and it is faster.

I tested one domain with lots of niche pages with backlinks from article marketing. I think I may have picked some overly competitive keywords?? Some have made it to page 1 on google. Many haven't.

On whim I took one of my keywords and bought the keyword-domain. That site with no backlinks is ABOVE the same keyword page on my multi-page niche site.

So I am going to just go ahead and buy niche domains I guess.

Backlinks seem like a lot of work.
I would like to automate this some. ANY SUGGESTIONS?

SO I am saying all this to say:
- I am new to niche site marketing but think I understand the basics
- I am lazy I'd like to automate as much as possible.
- I am testing to see what seems to work and what I dont know

*** Q1: How can I make this work faster?

*** Q2: Are there any tools I should buy to make this faster, more profitable, rinse-repeat.

I KNOW people are making money with both adsense and affiliates.

*** Q3: which is simpler and /or better adsense, affiliate (amazon, ebay, clickbank, comJunc, other?), or a combination of both?

The tools I have seem to work, but my implementation seems to be lacking. Possibly simply because of backlinks. I found a niche site out there and saw what they are doing and decided to basically copy it. But they have close to 400 backlinks to the site - many are temporary but obviously count for a while, etc, but I don;t yet know how to competed with them. HELP?

*** Q4: Are there good auto backlink tools I should get?

So I am really only self learning to some degree, figuring out what I dont know and trying to learn it; figuring out what I dont like to do and make a tool to do it.

I just bought 10 domains I researched and purposefully picked them because they have a wide variety of monthly search counts (1k-60k) and a wide variety of search results (10k - 80k) and am keeping a spread sheet to track the changes.

SO I am about to slowly release these this month and am working on content and backlinks.

So - am I crazy? testing too much? what? I'd rather spend some time testing to see what works than just fail and give up like most.

Is there a secret? There seems to be a million sites out there. Some with adsense, some with affil products. Some with great rankings. Some with keyword domains, some without.

*** Q5 - I think I have begun to make this all simpler, but can you guys reveal the tools you use to make this simpler and more profitable

thanks
kevin

this is the thread you should be reading : http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...m-success.html

Solves all your information overload and gives you an actionable plan. I am a believer in action. More action = More failures = More learning = More improvement = More success.

And there's an action plan over there. Just follow that and use your keyword research tool to help you spot some gold niches.

      HI Tylerdun,

thank you. I read the post as you suggested.

I appreciate the advice. I think I have a good understanding of the plan and the length of time it takes to be successful.

Really I am seeking what TOOLS others are using as I am doing a lot of research on niche sites that I find and I am seeing many seem to follow similar plans - not just design of site, but linking methodologies.

I realize they all don't work, but I am really looking for tools and strategies that people are using to automate backlinking, niche finding, the process in general.

      thanks again.

        Tools the best are using:

        - SENUKE(automates backlinking) But it keeps crashing on my comp. works well in my buddys comp if used with Ccleaner.

        - Incansoft ( Article robot, RSSBot and their other softwares) Even this automates backlinking. Try option 1 or two.

        - Micro niche finder / market samurai

        this is all you need....

You should only buy tools based on how much money is coming in. You want to slowly invest as you make more money. You don't want to spend 10k right away and then spend a year trying to earn it back...

      London,

how on earth would I spend 10k?
I have bought 10 domains (I own quite a few already) and a few articles.
At most a few hundred dollars which I don't miss and make back with existing projects.

I am just looking to know what tools others use to automate their backlinking really and any other component when doing niche sites.

That is all. I understand the web and I make money.
I just am new to niche site marketing and looking to figure out what tools other are using.

Thanks for the advice though. I will definitely keep myself in check while searching.

If you're a member of the War Room, go there and search for "conduit site" This is a strategy that I'm using very effectively and requires only initial setup to work well.

yes, I'm also looking to have lots of sites generating at least a little $$ each. I'm not really wanting to build my own sites, as that can be time consuming.. I'm searching for premade automated sites but seems like the only ones I've found are not limited in quantity or are so broad it wouldn't do any good to try for it. IF anyone knows where someone can buy good quality, low quantity sites that are automated, I'd be interested to know where. I'm sure there are designers out there who can churn out the sites and do the keyword research, design the site, etc just to sell. I've tried flippa , but .. I don't know... for some reason I'm not feeling comfortable with who's selling the sites. I've found some with unique content on there, but when you look at the site, it's a bunch of mess thrown together that doesn't even make sense!

You would be surprised how quickly you can spend $10k investing in tools. It's all about having a formula, outsourcing, automating and acquiring new strategies by buying reading material and/or other people's websites.
