Warrior Forum Cheers and Jeers

Hey Allen -

I just read in another thread where you hate deleting gripes on sight but can't let them all stay on here either.

How about doing what the Fort Worth Star Telegram does? Have a Cheers and Jeers section for the WF. Not just product reviews - but service, when someone does something kind, something scandalous, etc.

They have rules. Such as - you can name a cheer person. "Cheers to Allen Says for making the best forum in the world, etc."

But for Jeers, you have to say, "Jeers to that marketer who promises 10 day delivery for his new mega package but still hasn't responded in almost 2 months!"

Of course, I saw name em and shame em. But then it's your playground

The deal is, they get approved by the paper (mods?) and they balance the cheers with the jeers.

And everyone has to put their real name.
Just my suggestion. I've sent many a cheer and jeer to my local paper that got published.

Tiff, while your intentions are good, it will turn into a war zone. Even not
naming names, sometimes you can tell who you're talking about just by
the description of the product or service.

Then the defenders and supporters of the accused come to the rescue, not
to mention the accused himself because let's face it, human nature won't
let this person allow his name to be ripped to shreds.

And from there, it gets uglier. Those who agree with the "shame" put in
    their two cents.

And then of course there will be those who say the hell with the rules and
name names and then all hell breaks loose.

    This'll do it.

    Steve's right.

That cheers and jeers section has a great chance of becoming a war zone and a big distraction to us all.

Cheers and beers to the Warriors. My respect and admiration goes out to those who go the extra mile for success.

Right now in the Private Workshop, I'm seeing fantastic Warrior spirit. Warriors working together, cheering each other on, fully motivated. It pleases me immensely. Keep it up Warriors!

Personally, I think the best way to avoid having public complaints about your business is to do business in such a way that keeps complaints to a minimum.
