I have had Big Mike's Article Bot sitting on my hard drive for a good 6-8 months and just now dusted it off and am reviewing it.

Looks like a great product (of course). Just wondering if anyone has used it and if they have any feedback on how the blast of articles is 1) seen by google and 2) if it actually helps bring traffic to your site?

Thanks guys

    Likewise

I just printed off the pdf instructions to try and understand HOW to use it.

I am not dumb, but it seems like a great product that is hiding under a shroud of mystery. I think that big mike assumes we know what it is and how to use it.

I'm sure its fabulous. I just can't work out why

Thanks for the reply Kenj. I think I can figure out HOW to use it, I just need to make sure that I won't get the google slap for slamming the internet with 100s of articles. Just curious about others' experiences, that's all.

I thought I better post this.

I have been trying to get Article Bot set up. However, in running the software there were some issues with the automated sign up process. No big deal.

But, while manually doing sign ups, I am seeing alot of hacked article directories. Just wanted to give a heads up there. So be careful.

What is the problem with slamming google with hundreds of articles?

I thought that was what all warriors/Internet marketers were doing.

Anyway Could you enlighten me as to HOW to use it without spending 2 - 4 hours typing capchers (Or however it is spelt) In

Yes Deanna I found that as well. I guess one of the types of article directories has some kind of a security issue. I have a generic type email, username, and password that I use with articlebot. The signup may take a while but then you can just pound out the articles for backlinks.

One of the great things about articlebot to me is the fact that you can rotate different titles, article text, and bio boxes. I didn't ever really have a good article submitter so I have really liked this.

Just like any other aurtomation tool though is that you need to use it consistently so that it will do you good. That is where I am falling down a bit in lots of parts of my business.

Oh I'm not discouraged by the software-in fact manually signing up (though tedious) is working out okay-because I can delete the hacked ones and add new ones.

Thanks for the heads up Deanna. Probably a most dumb question, but what do you mean by hacked ones?

Sorry, again, for the dumb question.

That's not a dumb question. When using the software. If when you run the automated sign up part-the results will show- "waiting for an email".

Or when you are signing up manually a window will pop up, in the middle of the screen. It will say something like "hacked by". The only way I have found to break away from the site is by using my task manager to close the site.

Also when you get confirmation emails by the hacked sites-it will have the word "hacked " in the subject lines.

      Hope that helps a little.

Thanks D--as I was going through and doing my manual signups I did run into that more than a couple times.

Hi all. I've just bought article bot and have a couple of questions that you maybe able to help with.

I just started the task of going through and setting up the accounts (this might take a while!)

The main thing is that are limited categories available for posting your article too. Now I appreciate that the categories offered will be different across the sites. However the closest category I can find to my subject is business. If I just mass submit isn't the likelihood that the articles will end up in the wrong categories or won't be approved?

On a quick blast to 15 directories I took the step of logging in and manually changing the categories. But this is something of a task if looking to use 200 directories.

How are others dealing with this?

    Any thoughts or advice appreciated.

Ok today I have gone back and checked my submissions from yesterday (too early to make any strong opinions and is a small sample siz) - but here are my initial findings of the software:

To clarify it was 15 article directories selected and not submitted to.

5 hacked or dead - removed

    10 left for submission.

-2 Two reports article exceeded max length of 1200 words (was 450 word article using spin tags - mb this caused the rejection?)
    -4 articles awaiting approval
-3 articles no where to be seen in account (report said submission completed)
    -1 article live

A small sample obviously. As I sign up for more directories the hit rate may improve.
