How can I sell 5 Affiliate Ebooks Daily?

...5 ebooks daily is just a number I came up with to make at least $100 a day if I was making an average of $20. That amount would at least jusify me being on the internet so much. I am fascinated with Internet marketing but have tried different things in the past couple of weeks with NO success. I started a free affiliate clickbank account, started a free blog with wordpress and squidoo, and have also read countless articles on how to make money using these methods.

Unfortunately, I have come across Information Overload by trying to do too much and then just came to the realization that I'd like to just try and keep it simple. By keeping it simple, I guess I just need to figure out how to sell at least 5 or more ebooks daily without having to invest in PPC.

The biggest problem I have come across is the fact tha NO forums will allow affiliate links in your signatures anymore, and wordpress doesn't allow affiliate links either. I have learned so much recently (or thought I did) and when I began applying some of the methods that I have learmned, I came across additional roadblocks that have prevented me from getting my affiliate links out there. Can anyone suggest to me the best way to continue. I know that Internet marketing is what i want to do with my life but am still learning by trial and error and have pretty much ended up where I started two weeks ago...

Focus on one product and one product alone. If you spread your efforts over multiple niches while you are trying to learn you will likely suffer from information overload and fail in all of them.

This is exactly what I did when I first started Internet marketing and I wondered why it took me months to make my first sale. Select one product, one niche and put all your efforts into that product. Once you are getting results you can duplicate the process over and over again. You need to learn what works for you and what doesn't.

Squidoo doesn't have a problem with affiliate links, so you are on the right track there. YouTube usually doesn't have an issue either. I would use active links in the description plus a redirected link in the video itself. If you don't have a video camera, use animoto to create quick 30 second clicks highlighting a few of the benefits from the product.

If you are not going to use PPC, or your own hosting, it is going to be a hard row to hoe. I would agree with Dave to an extent, instead of one product I would suggest one market. The market should have several affiliate products available for you to spli test against to find the one that performs the best.

Even as an affiliate, you need to be building a list. Oh yeah, more costs. Most people recommend AWeber, as do I. If you are starting on an absolute bottom budget, Mailchimp.com will let you get started for free for the first 500 subscribers.

Last point, you need to set yourself apart from the pack. Do you know anything about the products/markets you are trying to promote. If not, you probably shouldn't be marketing them. If you have bought the product and consumed it, you have a far better understanding of the product and can provide a separate bonus report on the frontend to build the list and then follow up with the subscribers over time with more content and subsequent offers.

Too many people get into affiliate marketing thinking it is all about going out there and putting up your affiliate links and the money will start rolling in. Those days are gone IMHO. If you look at successful affiliate marketers, they are usually leading with their own reports and products and making affiliate sales on the backend and through the follow up process.

First off, you need to start small. Start with a goal of selling one per day.

You also need your own website. Buy a domain and pay for hosting. Next you need to build an e-mail list. And a twitter following. These will help generate traffic to your website where you can promote your affiliate products.

In the signature of forums you can put a link to your website.

Life and business is a process of overcoming one problem after another. So don't despair over a little problem or two.

As the poster above said, concentrate on one thing. Once you have mastered that, then go on to the next one. Sooner or later you will know how to do so much that you will be teaching others how to do it.

Pick something you like or find interesting and that makes sense to you. Just go from there and don't look back. And don't forget, never give up. You are not beaten until you quit. So, just don't quit and you will succeed.

First you need to find a niche and then find the keywords in that niche that bring in money. Find products related to the niche and then just test out your sells pages, links, offers, content to maximize for better conversions and sales.

Focus on one thing. Newbies always try to get tons of products and spam their links everywhere. That is why most forums and sites do not allow signature links or such. Because then you will have an internet full of people trying to sell their latest wonder product to everyone else.

Thank you to all who have replied so far. You have been genuine and I completely understand that it isn't really easy until you know what you are doing, or everyone would be doing this. Either way, I am trying to focus on One Product and One Market.

I am also trying to hit at least one sale a day and have tried blogging, articles, this and that. I know this takes time, but do any of you reccomend any specific free classified sites that may generate me my first sale? Once I do that, then I will try to duplicate and enhance what I orginally did to get that first sale.

I am financially hurting right now, working a job in the day time, but trying to break free. I see this as the one way ticket to a better life and will continue to try getting better. I am just wondering if anyone has any tips on how to start making an extra $500/mo without spending any money or buying another e-book...WITHOUT A WEBSITE TOO.

      Thanks again everyone.

Why not add: without doing any work too?

Really friend, you don't have to spend MUCH money, but you will almost certainly need a web presence and some of the basic tools such as an autoresponder.

Sorry if this sounds harsh, but it is reality.

You are getting several good advices here. If you want to enter in affiliate marketing world, you should not think on how to get 5 sales a day. Take one step at a time, focus on getting 1 sale a day as of now.

You should also focus on building your list. People wants to do affiliate marketing with a mindset of putting affiliate links all over the net. You don't need to do that. Build your list, then follow up your subscribers through email recommending the product that you want to promote. You should build your relationship with them first, give them valuable content and helpful information.

A lot of people are putting in all their efforts to spread their affiliate link all over the net, because they don't know how to do affiliate marketing properly. They don't know that more money is in the back-end and follow-ups.

While anything (almost) is possible, I'd suggest doing some freelance jobs at night to earn some cash that you can reinvest into your affiliate marketing efforts. You'll pay more attention to what does and doesn't work and why if you have some money as well as some sweat equity on the line.

Another thing you could do is contact someone who has a "How To" type product teaching affiliate marketing, traffic generation, etc. Ask them if they would be interested in you doing x number of hours of freelance work in exchange for a copy of their entry level product.

Also, check out the threads listed here.

There is no need to have website but you need at least some content. For example - you can submit a article at Goarticles and the rank in search engine. Goarticles allows to insert affiliate link in article and article from Goarticle ranks well.

So, what you need to do is -

    1. Select a niche
    2. Submit article to Goarticles and insert your affiliate link in article body and resource box
    3. Get your article rank in search engine
    4. Make money

There is one minus point in this case. I get very less CTR for article submitted in Goarticles. May be it is since I am not an expert article marketer. I actually do it only for backlinks and some traffic.

Test it once. Anyway this is one of the easiest ways.

    Thanks,
    Chandan

5 books in a day? There's no way you'd do this from Squidoo or Hubpages alone.

Actually I've sold 0 eBooks this month, so I do question all these people who say how easy it is. It's not!

It is difficult when you are starting but if you hang in there, you will make it. Just remember, keep it simple, stay focused and do a little bit of marketing every day. You really do need a domain name and a website, that's the best way. You can also try signing up at USFreeAds and posting some ads there. They do have a free option.

I would try to launch your own product, i have myself in the same situation as you not too long ago where i tried affiliate selling, affiliate membership sites, using other peoples websites for templates, SEO (shudders), i found that i got the most satisfaction from just creating and selling my own product.

Its is not as difficult as it sounds, just do research on an internet marketing niche you find an interest in, and then read articles on ezinearticles, look at similar clickbank products, ask people on the warrior forums etc.

Once you have a sound basis then just make a document about 20 pages or so, try to make it unique and to the point, interesting and funny. All the information can just be taken from others peoples expertise.

Submit the product as a WSO on here for $5 or so and you can almost guaranteed make $100 a week.

Focus on a single product and put all of your effort/time/knowledge into it. With a quality product, sales will be easy. With a single product, you won't lose your focus and get distracted. A good quality product will let the marketing phase be so much easier.

When you start marketing your product, focus on free methods (SEO, Youtube, Articles, etc.) before you venture into PPC marketing. This will allow to advertise with little marketing dollars. When sales pick up, then venture into PPC Methods (but still be careful).

Also, work on your copywriting skills. Good copy can be all the difference between average sales and amazing sales.

    Best of Luck,

Regarding your reluctance to start your own website, I am assuming it is a financial obstacle. If so, Host Gator is quite inexpensive - Baby Croc is, I think, $8.95 per month (Perhaps $9.97), with unlimited addon domains. Purchase a domain from Name Cheap or Go Daddy (search for a coupon), and as someone else advised, put your domain link on your articles. People arriving at your web site will see your affiliate links, and you can promote them as much as you want.

As someone else suggested, do a little freelancing to recoup the basic costs, and you'll be off and running.

It speaks well for you that you are seeking good advice and are open-minded about it. That's a great beginning attitude.

      Best of luck.

    Hi Chad

I was in the same position as you 2 years ago, busting a gut trying to drive traffic to my affiliate links.

I never made more than a handful of sales.

You see, sending traffic to somebody else's sales page or squeeze page may earn you a few dollars here and there but all you are really doing is building the product owners mailing list.

When I realized this I began focusing my efforts on becoming the product owner.

Now my efforts build MY mailing list and affiliate marketing is a hell of a lot easier and more productive when you have your own audience to market to (plus it is just one of several income streams because I own several products)

You can sell a few ebooks a day with a blogger blog no problem. I have seen a few blogs like this in the weight loss niche with only 2-3 posts and I come across them all the time. The same blog is getting a ton of traffic so I am sure it's converting. I'm not in that niche so it's all the same to me.

All this is good advice, but don't expect to be making sales at first. list building is good, and so is everything else, but first you need a website. If you have trouble total cost should be less than $20/ you can find coupon for godaddy to get a domain for a penny. hostgator can get you hosting for a penny for the first month with a coupon.

once you get that set up, install wordpress ( its easy with Fantastico) pick a theme, there are a ton of decent looking free ones. they are not as good as paid themes, but better than the basic one that comes with Wordpress.

Then start writing. I would do a product review, and use Google keyword tool to find a product specific keyword. post that article on your blog, then start writing articles on the topic of the product. post them to your hubs, squidoo lenses, Ezine articles, and link them to the review on your own blog where you have a product review. do bout 10 articles and get them posted. that will get traffic started to your offer. then take time to learn for a few minutes. learn more about your niche, and write up about a 10 page report on The problem the ebook you are promoting will solve. It should be about 10-15 pages long.

You can even take the articles that you have already written rewrite them, and put them all together. Write a little more to make tie each one into the next one, and set up a flow. by then you should have a 10-15 page report that you can give away to build list.

If you have Word, you can save it as pdf and there is your giveaway for a list.
after that, set up an autoresponder, give away the ebook. write a few emails to put in the followup sequence, on the same topic. set those up with the autoresponder. you should start out with 7, so that you email every day for the first 7 days.

Once you do all that, and set up squeeze page, then you can repeat the article process, linking to the opt in page.

now, all this will take time, but if you can swing it, you will build up a relationship with people and then they will buy your products. Once you start making some sales, I would hire someone to do the writing, and start posting more articles on your blog. You will get better and faster search rankings if you have more content on your site.

there is a lot you need to learn in there, and it will take time. took me 3 months to start getting sales consistently every week, and another 3 to start seeing them every day, but it will happen with time.

Remember, there is no such thing as an unrealistic goal, just an unrealistic time frame to reach it.

I have learned a few lessons in my life as an internet marketer, and one is not to rely on free salespages.

You can drive a few hundred visitors a day to a Squidoo lens and make 2-3 sales each day, and suddenly your business is not wanted there and you are asked to remove your content before they ban it.

If you want to build a long term business, you need to invest in a domain and some hosting. This is not expencive.

If your goal is to make 5 sales a day, you should build a website large enough to get at least 1000 daily visitors. This means enough content to answer to the needs of a 1000 people each day.

When your website is large enough, you need to use the free opportunities like ezinearticles, facebook, squidoo etc to drive traffic to your website, and at the same time build backlinks for Google rankings.

Keep at it and do what is necessary, and you will most likely succeed

And, if you promote a $ 25 ebook, you only need to sell 4, and if you sell a $ 33 ebook you only need to sell 3.

There are even ebooks at clickbank with $100 commissions. See if any of those fit your taste. Just because you think they are expencive does not meen that the people who visit your site does not find enough value in it.
