Anyone knows about this?

Hi,

I experienced a strange thing that google actually index my new site ending with ".com/?hoplink=..."

I thought it should be indexing my site ending with ".com" only?

Since it is my website, why is google indexing my website domain with someone else's hoplink address?

Does anyone knows how to fix this or encountered this problem before?

Please help me...

Can you show us what you mean by using a link?

Hard to answer your question without verifying that it isn't just a local problem you are having on your machine.

Feel free to PM me if you are hesitant about sharing your URL in the open. If you don't want to share, no biggie.

It has never happened to me so I can't say exactly how this has happened but I think if you keep building links to your domain, google will index your domain properly (without the hoplink)

    Still, not sure about it

It DOES happen. Also, if you check your domain versus domain dot com/hop they may have different page rank. I have one domain that has a lower PR than some affiliate hop links.

This can happen. Google found the link before than your main domain. Your domain is not yet indexed, it is the affiliate link. Build some incoming links and you will get your website indexed.

If you don't want that to happen, you can modify your robots.txt file, and tell Google not to index hoplinks. At least, I think you can.
