What's your biggest keyword research stumbling block?

    For me it is cross checking the the accuracy of long tail keywords. I am slowly learning that Google Keyword Tool is not a very accurate barometer and I am trying to develop a system to best ensure the accuracy of a long tail through cross checking amongst multiple sources.

    Doing keyword optimization for an online store that spans a wide spectrum.

    For example ... a store that sells gun holsters, complete rigs, etc - western and modern, 1800 period authentic clothing, leather buckskin clothing, replica guns, accessories such as watch fobs and the like, etc ....

    The homepage is a keyword nightmare in that you touch upon all the categories and such, so you have to mention all the keywords ...

    How do you know when to quit adding keywords, even if you think they are important and relevant?
