Market Samurai website hijack?

I didn't know where to post this. If I am in the wrong section, please moderators move it.

I attempted to get the free trial of market samurai this morning and was on the noblesamurai site in the dojo. Every link or button to either get the trial or buy market samurai or that leads to the marketsamurai dot com site, redirects to a strange looking link called anonym.to with a question mark icon. It appears as if someone has hijacked it. Each and every link goes to the same place no matter what it says at the bottom of the noble samurai page.

It also happens from all links from google leading to marketsamurai dot com as well.

I don't know if I'm correct or not but I'd rather speak up and be wrong than to say nothing and be right.

I know that many here use this program and may in fact know the owner of the site in order to notify him if I am in fact right.

I took a screenshot of it but don't have enough posts to include it here, sorry.

Thanks,
Phoenix

There's nothing wrong with their site as far as I can see so that more than likely means your computer has been setup to block access to their site.

More accurately it's been set up to divert any attempt to reach their site to another site instead, in this case the "anonym.to" site.

I won't speculate as to the reasons behind that but it is likely that someone has previously altered your settings in order for this to happen.

The settings file that makes these sorts of diverts/redirections is called the "hosts" file on windows computers so you probably want to start your investigation there

Thank you NoGimmicks for the information. I will surely investigate that further. As far as I can see there are no strange entries in my hosts file so I will try other avenues.

I am sort of relieved that it's possibly on my end and not on theirs.
I'll run another virus scan and adware scan on my end! I've been to hundreds of sites this week so there is no telling what the scans didn't catch.

    Thanks alot!
