Wordpress HELP!!!!

I decided to write my home page on my own html editor form. It is easier for me to understand. Problem is, when I copied and pasted it onto my wordpress page, it shows up all the codes. What am I doing wrong here?:confused:

    Are you pasting it in under the 'HTML' tab in the WP editor?

    Are you under the visual editor tab, or the html editor tab when you copy and paste?

      As well as checking if you are pasting your work in the html tab, I'm wondering if WP is picking up some formatting from your html editor as well. If you are going to copy and paste to WP, best to use a simple text editor like Notepad.

          I just got it to work. It is not exactly what I had in my html editor, but it will do. Thanks everyone. Lesson learned.

          If you are pasting code (and HTML is code!) never use the Visual animal...
