Do articles on Ezine get actually indexed?

I know the question may sound like a strange question, but when I did a little test and typed site:URLToTheArticle in Google, I just got bunch of results related to ezine articles, but the article link did not show. In fact, when I tried the same with other articles, mine as well as other people's, the search results were the same. So the question is - how do ezine articles get indexed? Does the actual (URL) to the article get indexed?

From the search engine stand point its ezine domain name article title that show up in the search results, the links in the content get indexed by google. For example you write an article on widgets, the article on widgets gets indexed, your links and keywords get indexed as well which should increase the position of them. I hope that helps

Hey, some articles if written properly in a blog for example can get indexed in hours literally. It depends on keyword density, article subject popularity or rarity.

I wrote an article called "Bathroom Floor Selection" and it has been #1 for some time. I don't make any money from it was just an industry thing but my by line "Confessions of a Tile Setter" with my Ezine Articles and blog posts have been picked up by other blogs and even brick and mortar stores as soon as they hit electronic medium.

I am not a professional writer but but I have found considered use of key words and subject matter can get you indexed real fast. Not sure why but "keep plugging".
