Cherrypicker Vs Market Samurai

I notice something that I feel what debating. I tested cherrypicker (the software that is part of Ryan's launch promo) against market samurai few minutes ago and discover that there is a big gap in the result.

I know market samurai has lot of features. But I'm not talking about features now but about the seo result provided by the two software.

What did you think about the two result if you've also test both software.

I haven't used/tested cherrypicker. I have been quite pleased with market Samurai though....

Does one supply more or different data, in your honest opinion, based on your experience? I know, with MS, you can set min/max for things like your SEOT value, etc....

I personally wasn't overly impressed with it. It basically does the same exact thing other keyword softwares do (without all the features that the other ones have).

    But hey, it's free!

You get almost the identical information with the free SEO tool in Traffic Travis. The only difference I see is that the title tag is displayed for Cherry Picker and not in Traffic Travis, however - Traffic Travis gives you much more analytical information...and it is free too!

I agree with willsmith. Traffic Travis is a great free product, with extra info functions that cherrypicker has. Like checking the SEO on certain webpages for certain keywords. Also Traffic Travis comes out with updates on a regular basis.

I saw the demo of cherrypicker today, and for an outlay of $10,000 I think he was robbed. (Unless I am missing something)

I will just stick with the seo plugin for firefox and not have to worry about any software.

Exactly which data are you seeing the difference in? Searches? COmpeting sites? Other competition criteria? Something else?

I've used both, and Market Sumari is hands down better. Just the 1 module that includes the competitive SEO analysis CherryPicker has includes much more useful information, such as the age of the domain. It also color codes key information so you can tell at a glance how competitive a niche may be.

For a free alternative, use the SEO Quake Firefox plugin.

And I don't believe for a second that CherryPicker cost $10,000. Isn't that what everyone who is almost broke does --- Spend $10k for something that does a part of what free software, or other alternatives less than a hundred bucks can do?

Yes I know. And quite agree with you that the source may be different.
Anyway cherrypicker is no doubt a simple tool. And market samurai is fantastic. I been using it for some time.

If you already have MarketSamurai why would you mess with something else? There's no need to get distracted with shiny new toys.

Cherry picker looks like it was thrown together quickly to build his list. Doesn't look like much work was put into it.

appears to be a decent free product for someone just starting out but agree traffic travis free product is better and market samurai can still be had for a small investment. I just can't believe all the glowing comments on cherry picker site.. doesn't smell right

Cherry Picker is more like a sour grape. It is super basic, and Market Samurai simply blows it out of the water. NO comparison whatsoever.

i dont mean to be rude but Cherry Picker is nothing special.... it is too simple and I agree that this is more of a list building thing for Ryan..... if hes planning a paid version for this, i wonder if there will be more features... I dont see it competing with Market Samurai or Traffic Travis they way it is now....

what I dont like is when Amish Shah hypes about this to his followers... I wonder if he really thinks Cherry Picker is such a cool software.....

+1 above. Wasn't gonna comment again on this thread really, as Cherry Picker and MS are lights years apart in functionality. Such a time wasting question in the first place.

I would compare CP to WebCompAnalyst which costs money, but is much the better product (WCA). Maybe Ryan will add functionality to rival or exceed WCA but so what. I use WCA along with MS and MNF. Time's up. Spent too much time on this thread already.

I could not get Cherry Picker to download on either one of my two computers. I tried to follow the directions under the help section and still nothing. Question: Aren't you supposed to test a product before you send it out to the public?
