Best Google Analytics plugin for Wordpress

INTERNET MARKETING

I think there are two main "contestants" in this category, Google Analytics for WordPress and Analyticator. Which one is better in your opinion and why?

That case is my "proverbial" example for things that you don't need a plugin for

I have to admit, I am a plugin-minimalist, mainly because not all plugin authors are good coders and you can end up with awful resource hogs...

I just copy/paste the GA code into my footer.php and that's it.

You do not need a plug-in for Google Analytics.

Just copy and paste the code into your sites footer.

I like ultimate GA if you actually want a plugin as it will allow you to control what info it supplies.

Plugins can give you additional tracking options, which is why you may opt for that instead of just plugging in the code.
