Best Dan Kennedy Books?

Hey Guys,

I was looking through the books available by Dan Kennedy, who I've liked so far... and he has well over a dozen!

Can anyone recommend the most essential or best books by him? I heard some dip more into upsells for his seminars, and others are pure gold content. Any thoughts? Thanks.

Obviously, that question is highly subjective. That being said, The Ultimate Sales Letter gets my vote.

I haven't read them all but "Marketing To The Affluent" is really
good. If you want to learn copy, read his sales letters 'cause
he's one of the best, but his book on copy is pretty sketchy, imo.

He's been cranking out a lot of books ever since he semi-retired
(from speaking I guess). Even Kennedy admits most material
on business is repetitive and you can get the same information
from lots of sources, usually. I used to find his writing dry but
I've come to really appreciate it - he is exceptionally skilled
at making dry subject matter readable, at least in terms of the
    stuff he knows about.

I thought his recent book co-written with Sidney Barrows was
excellent, though padded-out in the back.

I'd get the No BS Info Marketing book. I read it at the bookstore a few weeks ago. Very solid info, but you'll definitely have to get used to his style of writing.

I've been reading Dan's stuff for almost 30 years (yikes!) and almost all of it is good.

Some is better than others, but its hard to go wrong, imo. I will say of all the books, I wasn't real impressed with his editing and reissue of The New Psyco-Cybernetics. The original was better. If you really get into his stuff, you might even enjoy his personal bio book called, "My Unfinished Business"....for 10 bucks it's full of great insights into how a driven entrepreneur's early life sets his course for the future.

My favorite is "Wealth Attraction for Entrepreneurs". Even though it does not focus on any technical aspects of business, it gives his business philosiphy. I listen to those cds alot, even ripped the files to my phone.

The next one on the list is "Magnetic Marketing". I have learned so much from this one on sales letters and following up. I used many of those techniques with great success when I used to sell cars.

The best material by Dan Kennedy is usually available in
      his audio or video courses.

That said, there's a great 3 Volume series of printed
manuals entitled Dan Kennedy's Powerpoints where
he details just about every marketing concept he's
ever discussed - in great detail. (979 'Powerpoints'
      in 757 pages).

That's the best book by Dan Kennedy IMO. It's a little
more expensive but way more valuable than any of
      his bookstore books.

Most of his books are lead generators to his higher
priced products but the Powerpoint manuals give you
the detail on just about every marketing topic you can
think of - straight from Dan.

      Dedicated to your success,

Thanks for the info, everyone, I've heard a lot of great stuff about his Sales Letter book.

Does that book have a lot of sample sales letters? Does he have a salesletter swipe file online somewhere?
