A simple tactic to increase conversions in the offline consulting business

I do a lot of offline marketing and use a toll free number with voice mail that takes most of my calls. I used to use my own voice but when my girl friend started telling me how she makes a high volume of sales at work when talking to men it occurred to me that male business owners might be more receptive if, when they called my number, they heard a nice greeting from my girl instead of me.

I had her record my message using pretty much the same recording I use earlier this week and I could tell the difference almost immediately. The men and even the women who called left longer, more detailed messages and seemed much more open to discussing doing business with my company.

Unfortunately I cannot use her to actually talk to my potential clients because she knows absolutely nothing about SEO, offline consulting, or any kind of internet marketing. But still, it gets a good initial response and helps break the ice. I would recommend anyone who knows a woman with a sexy voice (or a sweet Texas accent), to give it a try. Even when I call my prospects back I have noticed they seemed more receptive to my call than normal. Maybe my imagination but sales are up this week that is for sure.
