Hey Warriors,

What do you think about selling your online services to offline businesses in other countries?

What would be the best way to approach them if I have a portfolio that I can show so they know I'm not kidding around?

I've been thinking about outsourcing telemarketing for this - what do you think?

I will probably do some tests anyway (I like to try things out ), but was wondering if you have any creative / tried / successful ideas...

You could do SEO, but only if you really know what you're doing. SEO for small businesses can be charged at hundreds or even thousands per month, depending on the small business. I had a friend working for an SEO company in Asia telemarketing to Australia, N. America and Europe and it was a very big company and best of all, they delivered on the SEO they promised. Not that yours would be the same but depends on how big you want your operation to be and your capability of doing the work.

Some of my first offline business clients were in other countries.

The best ways to pick up clients out of town or in other countries are probably:

      # Referrals.

      # Direct mail (business owners will read a letter that comes from another country).

      # Becoming a member of an organization that recommends you.

      Kindest regards,
      Andrew Cavanagh

I have a large number of clients in the US, with two in La Jolla. I just gained a client in Mexico. I don't have any offline clients in Australia - I think Andrew grabbed all of them!

Quite a few in Europe and Canada as well.

Try showing them the lifetime value of a new customer and demonstrate how you have gotten other businesses extra clients in the past.

I have clients outside the uk and it's not a problem, but I do sometimes still visit them as I like to travel and prefer to know who I'm working with.

I don't know if you wish to answer this question here.

How do you collect leads and contact these guys in other countries? You've got sales agents/offices setup in these places?
